Does the kodak webcam s101 work with skype ??

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Instalar kodak s101
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Reinstall the latest drivers for the webcam from kodak's website and check under your volume controls to see if the device can pick up your sound.

I had the same problem today. I did some research and found that the software is trying to go to a website that no longer exists, or at least is not functioning right now.

I found out that the Kodak webcam which is the D101 is plug and play. I just plugged it in and I have already used Skype.

Try installing the software first then plug in the web cam directly into a usb port on your pc and NOT into a usb hub. Thanks for using FixYa

I got so exasperated looking for these...getting the run around from Kodak...and ignored by Sakar...that I went an d bought another one just to rip the disc.
Here it is for the thousands that need it.

1. Try reinstalling the software without camera connected.
2. Plug the camera into a DIFFERENT usb port.

It should work.
