Your Maytag refrigerator is built by Whirlpool and uses a filter shown i video i have attached and that video will show you how to replace the filter

I have a maytag msd2572vew side by side refrigerator. the freezer side works fine but fridge side does not get cold. the vents in the fridge feel like no air is blowing. anyone know what's wrong?

Hi,
You have a defrost problem and will need to thaw out your freezer to change the one of the bad parts and restore air flow. The other bad part is PCA (this is a control of defrost and compressor run). First bad part is a defrost thermostat link under bad and the other is the PCA which controls the defrost cycle. Unplug unit, de-ice the freezer and this will buy you time to get parts, I don't like the use of blow dryers but people use them in this case. Watch the heat, is can warp the plastic.

Hi! I know this may sound weird, but you should try to wash it with vinegar, plain vinegar will do the trick. Also, I don't know if you have this in your country, but sour lemon it is good too, for this kind of situations.
After this treatment it is applied, wash it with a cleaning solution mixed with water, then rinse with simple water.

http://www.hoover.com/CustomerService/Manuals/Default.aspx Enter your model number on Hoover's website to view or print a manual. I suspect that you may have accidentally discarded the bag frame ( part # 93001544 ), which holds the bag in position.

They remove the transmission pan,and let all the fluid run out,and change the filter,then install a new gasket on the pan,and replace the filter,install the pan,and fill the transmission back up.

Maytag lock and filter change

to reset the change filter light:
Press hold the LIGHT and LOCK pads until the CHANGE FILTER light blinks (approx. 3 sec.)
Dispenser lock:
to interrupt power to the water and ice dispenser so it cannot be used , press the lock pad 3 times within 10 seconds.
