Trying to watch a movie on my tv a long time now..but It won't play...I put it on dvd and put in the movie, then it says "read" which it is reading I guess the movie, like scanning...anyway, then it pops back out...I go to menu, and try to follow the steps, then it ask me for a key code...i'm totally lost with the TEch...Why don't they make Tv like before..put in the movie and just hit play..lol.lol.
Help me if you can..Had my tv for my room now since Last Dec...still never watch nothing in him yet..lol..

Dear Lesley! It looks, like your DVD lens might get contaminated with dust and/or dirt, which is being picked up off DVDs. Let's try to load music CD, instead or DVD. If it loads well, I will suggest, that your DVD player is at fault and you must give up using it. External basic DVD players are quite inexpensive and easy to connect to your TV. But: if no CD, nor DVD load, the solution might be much simpler: use lens cleaner CD with brushes. good ones might even have a special fluid, which applied to brushes(alcohol based). Just load it into your TV's player and follow audible directions. After couple attempts, your lens should be clean enough to play DVDs. Please, don't try to use any "ear swabs", instead. The lengths is not long enough, plus it may damage load mechanism or get stuck inside. I've seen such a cases lately. Good luck, Thank you, Alex.
No,tv internal DVD player are not on sale by itself as a seperate unit,only can buy it from the tv corporations themselves and it not cheap and have to have experience to putting it in into the tv internal tv itself.The tv internal DVD player now,could be the laser eye data reader have problems reading mp3 and mp4 files on the DVD disc,which are video files.Now tries to play more than one DVD movies dic,tries like to play like 5 to 6 original DVD movies.One disc don't play tries another DVD disc.Tries this might forcing the laser eye reader to read DVD dics again and than might fix it to read video files again.Or just buy an external DVD player hook it up to the tv and play DVD disc on to the tv video modes.DVD players external devices are really cheap these day,like can buy new one for $40.
You should be able to put the DVD in the tray and should automatically recognize it and go into the movie.
What type of media are you trying to watch. PS2's cannot play blu-ray movies.
Sorry u have to buy an original remote for this.The universal remote,will not be response by the tv for tthis function.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an exact to the original remote.
Sounds like the unit is bad, or set to the wrong Regional Code. Its not easy to set the regional code and it varies by model. You are better off buying a new DVD player given they can be found for under $30.
Are you trying to play a DVD-ROM? Some sets won't play anything but conventional movies, leaving you to put the disc in a computer to watch it...accordianman
