Do you know if omnitech photo frame model 15242 has a battery compartment

I think you must mean USB lead - look on Ebay for a compatible one for the make and model of frame

If there is a reset button (sometimes it's inside the battery compartment or on the edge of the frame), press it in with a pen or pencil. Hold for 30 seconds. Try restarting the unit.

If there is no reset button, try pressing and holding the "power" switch for 30 seconds.

Google search manufacturer make, model and word manual.

you click the choice button .and it will indicate the two choice . save or delete .you choose the delete .and click the ok button .

The solution is buy a power supply in Radio Shark, bring with you the frame to see the especificaton.

Does your Digi Frame use Jpeg or PDF?
This could be the problem

HELLO THERE:
Since Staple's Omnitech GPS has a lithium-ion battery, the compartment should be pretty inaccessible. That is, you'll probably have to take out some screws that you see on the back of the unit. Definitely check out the manual before you try accessing it to avoid breaking something!

A remote for a digital photo frame? Are you sure it is an Omnitech Photo Frame? Mine did not come with one, but here is what you can do. Just load your pictures onto an SD chip and put it in the slot in the back of the frame. Plug in the power cord and then press the exit button on the back to get out of their sample pictures. Just play around with the OK - Exit and arrows on the back of the frame and you will be able to set up a slide show with the pictures from your mem chip.
