Hi there, have a Hisense fridge model hr6tff526(s) which is leaking water from the inside, looks like its coming from the top where the fan is located.thx

Hi Kassem

It's probably just condensation water like what you get under an air conditioned car in the summer.

Usually in a Fridge they collect the condensed water and run it down a clear hose pipe to a plastic container at the bottom rear of a fridge.
This pipe can become blocked with food & junk & mould, mice etc.
Find one end and clear the obstruction. A flexible rod or wire or air burst.
Cheers

Ruud achiever 90 plus furnace-water leaks from the drain pipe

This furnace should condense, as long as it goes into the drain. If it is leaking inside the furnace, there may be a seal that needs replacing in either the pvc drain pipe or concentric drain trap needs resealed.

The rudd a/c unit is making too much water

Not really. You have alot of moisture in your home and it is removing it is all. Only problem with to much liquid is if it is forming on the lines as condensation and dripping on your ceiling. Make sure your drain pan is clear of any gunk and the drain pipe allows good flow to the outside.

Rudd achiever 90 plus. does not ignight with top cover on...without cover it works fine

Most likely a venting issue, does this have 1 pipe or 2 pipes? if it has 2 you can try it with the inlet pipe disconnected to see if there is a restriction somewhere in the pipe. It may also be in the exhaust pipe, although you don't need to run it with this pipe disconnected because you can vent the flue gases into the home. How old is this system? Has it worked fine prior to this issue?

My 1042 Power Humidifier has water under the PVC pipe leading from the unit into the drain. Does that mean the unit itself is leaking water?

Hi, if the unit is leaking and it looks as though it is coming from the PVC pipe, more then likely its leaking at the unit its self where the pipe connects. Water will run down the pipe and drip down line. Dry it off and put your hand around where the PVC pipe screws into unit. Unless the pipe is cracked, this is where the leak is. If the fitting is a male or female threaded PVC fitting and a piece of PVC pipe that goes to the drain, you can repair this very easy. Just cut the pipe near the fitting with a hacksaw. Unscrew the fitting that goes to unit. Go to a hardware store like Home Depot, take the old fitting with you and buy a replacement. Buy a coupling, a small can of clear PVC glue and a small can or tube of pipe dope to put on the fitting threads. Screw the fitting in first and make sure it has pipe dope on it, get it tight with pliers. Take the pipe and coupling and glue it on the pipe. Put glue on the other end and slide it in the fitting that was where it was leaking before. Hold it in place for a few seconds. Once you put the glue on, be ready to put it together as it drys super fast and you cant take it apart once it sets. Very easy to repair and the parts cost pennys. Keep me posted. You can do this and will learn about plumbing! Good Luck.

I have a Rudd Achiever 14 and I want to know if

Take the front panel off the air handler and look for a heat element. You should notice controls and relays with larger wiring to it. It may not have any heat but you can add it.

Leaking water in front left side

hi tom
yes the drain tube may be glogged and when the unit defrosts the water just flows to the bottom of the un it then eventally out, if you have a clogged drain, you will see water on a pretty reglar basis
8, 10, 12 hours
the drain pipe is behind the back wall on the freezer, if you take that off you will se an ice build up, remove that ice and clear the drain tube
you may need to pull out the machine and remove the tube from the back to ensure that it is entirley clear

Rudd Achiever A/C float switch is clogged.

If the pump was bad the switch is supposed to shut down the ac so the water damage won't occur. You most likely have a bad drain.
