You can look up the codes for your remote on this list. Here are the steps to enter the programming code into your RCA Universal Remote: Manually turn on the device you want to control. Find the Code List. Locate the section for the type of device you would like to control and find your brand in that section. Write down the code(s). Press and hold the device key you want to program. The on/off key light comes on. While holding the device key, use your other hand to enter the first five digit code for your brand from the list. The on/off key light goes off after the first digit. When finished entering the code, keep holding down the device key and look at the on/off key light. If the light is on, you have successfully programmed your remote.
