Remote Starter with Keyless Entry - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

it's obvious, you don't have it wired up corectly either via grounding or via power suppply. it's blowing the fuses because you're prboably pulling too much amperage. you'll need a multimeter to see what levels of voltage and amperage and resistance are registering.

yr best bet would go to there web site and look for the system that is installed in your vehicle, bulldog.com and look at the drop down, it tells you what is needed to work your system.

The yellow wire at the ignition switch is not connected to the remote start system. Once it is connected to the accessory output of the remote start, it should work properly.

It sounds like the RS82 is not getting a proper tach signal. If you are using tachless mode, the 12 volt constants may not be providing the desired signal. Recheck your connections to ensure that they are solid. The high amperage wires should be soldered. You will need to connect the tach wire if the connections are good. The tach wire can be connected to the negative side of the ignition coil's blue/brown wire or the blue/green wire at the PCM or you can use any one of the uncommon colored wire at a fuel injector.

Yes, There are two Immobilizer bypass modules on the market that will work with your vehicle without having to sacrifice a key. Xpresskit offers the DBALL and PK9. Both require programming to function properly.

This would only happen if you did not install the brake cut off switch. You will be able to shut the car off with the key after 15 minutes or with the remote.
