My dad has a Power on Board jump start system that will not take a charge, can I replace the batterys?
Yes you can replace the batteries but that is the bulk of the cost of the unit. For probably just another 20 bucks you can get a new one. Worth checking into but all you have to do is take it apart and grab the batteries inside. Batteries Plus will carry them and in most cased you can get them from auto parts stores.

REPLACEMENT BATTERY VECTOR JUMP STARTER
Ebay lists over 150 of them. 12v 19ah will get you to a seller.The jump starter won't have a problem with the extra ah capacity but there might be a problem with the physical size of the battery. The jump starter's charge function may work a little harder though.
