first of all check for at least 12 volts from the battery and the charger, you can test this using a multimeter
Cadilliac escalade 12 volt ride on will go in reverse but not forward?
You need to take off the shifter. The shifter on the escalades are terrible so you have to remove the seat and take out the two screws holding the shifter down. Unhook the shifter make sure you look at the plugs so you can put them back the same way they came off if not you could fry the shifter. Take the shifter complety apart and clean switches and clik them back and forth to get all the dirt out of switch. Hook up wires and see if that helps if not you have the shifter out anyway so replace switch.
Can you use a 12 volt car battery for a f-150 power wheels?
The first thing you need to know if modifying your vehicle will void the warranty. Just a disclaimer. It is NOT recommended to use a car battery in a kids ride on vehicle. It could work and function, but what it really comes down to is the safety for you and your children so it is not recommended. It is unsafe to use any kind of unsealed wet acid battery for a ride on toy for your children. The batteries that need to be bought are of the SEALED LEAD ACID kind, again, this is for the safety of the children and though there may be a lot of reasons for wanting a car battery in the vehicle is is just not safe enough.Power Wheels recommends using the 12V gray battery that is designed for the vehicle, it can be seen here:

You can find a lot of information on modifying these ride on toys at modifiedpowerwheels.com they have lots of information, and will make sure the mods you do are safe for the children as well.Thank you,ColleenCustomer ServiceMendingShed.com800-339-9297

There is usually a warrenty issue with the time frame that you have waited to return the item to Walmart. If you still have the receipt which you will need take it to the return counter with receipt and the item and ask them if they can or will exchange the item for you. That is really all you can do to get this exchanged they will not even work with you if you do not have a receipt for the item and all the parts and stuff with you. Walmart is usually good with their customer support and exchanges, however you may have an issue with the length of time you have had it.
You might want to check the charger for it for the battery the charger may not be working you can possibly try to get another charger for it if the batteries are new then try another charger for it. Battery is full but quad will not turn over?? what should i do?
1. make sure batt. posts and clamps are so clean you could eat off them.make sure they are firmly clamped to posts 2. now this could be a little risky but what you got to lose? another day without doing dirty deeds now get a large screwdriver with a insulated handle andtouch the big ("+)post and smaller post on the starter relay or selinoid, both at same time shorting by-passing the two relay and selinoid,.be sure have machine switched on, like you tried to start it.it will be a SIZABLE SPARK FROM THE SCREWDRIVER MAKING CONTACT WITH THE 12v..if this failscheck breakers ,fuses, power cable and such. otherwise you may have to always stop on a hill, so you can roll and POP the clutch to start.
