Fuji Rod Repair Kit Questions & Answers
I have a fuji xp60. Just charged the battery.
I had a Fuji camera which did similar. It turned out to be a defective component inside the camera. Fuji do a repair service where you contact them for an estimate before repair. If the camera is old, it may not be worth the cost and cheaper to buy a later model. Sorry
Have had a fujifilm finepix
If you have a power adapter for it try to see if it will power up using that. If it does install fresh batts and see if that will work. I use rechargeable batts with mine and have allowed them to fully discharged at times for up to a month. I pop in fresh batts and it always fire up for me.
I some how screwed up
Unless you post the make and model of the camera in the comments below all we here can do is give you generic answers
like return the exposure compensation settings to zero
set the dial to shutter priority and set a fast speed but the faster the shutter the more light you need to get the correct exposure
so at night you need to use a very fast lens about F2.8 or better still F1.4 and a powerful flashgun to freeze the action along with an high ISO speed or learn to pan while shooting at least with a digital camera you won't be wasting lots of film getting the technique right
Why is my camera displaying

Hi there,
Please check if you can access the card on a computer?
If you could format the card from a computer and choose the file system to be fat32.
Also make sure that the contacts are clean and make sure that the slot you have to put it in the camera is cleaned too. If the problem persist the problem could possibly be the contact on the camera not properly touching the contacts on the card that's why it's not able to remove the permission from it.
It would be better to have a camera technician look at it for you as it would involve opening the camera and cleaning or possibly replacing those contact pins.
Hope this helps!

Message says lens control error
Hello
The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the
probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.
Use
these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.
Firstly ,
try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.
Try holding the
shutter button while switching on the camera.
Look at the lens ,
and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then
try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).
Try gently
pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may
cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.
Another
way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and
then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to
not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and
down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the
camera is enough to get things going again.
Try hitting your
camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of
your hand.
Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair centre for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to
replace the camera.
If it is still under warranty I would suggest
you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any
off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about
warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

Hope
the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need
any further assistance. Also, please be so kind to let me know if you
found this helpful.

Andrea

You didn't specify the make and model of your camera, so I'm going to assume it uses SD cards.
