PROBLEM: The walking belt is off-center or slips when walked on SOLUTION: a. If the walking belt has shifted to the left, first remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. Using the hex key, turn the left idler roller bolt clockwise 1/2 of a turn. Be careful not to overtighten the walking belt. If the walking belt has shifted to the right, turn the left idler roller bolt counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. Then,plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is centered.
Where to tighten belt on reebok280 treadmill?
there should be 2 end roller caps, one on the left and one on the right. in these caps there will be an allen key bolt, turn each one a full turn to tighten the belt. continue to turn these bolts until you are happy with the belt tension.
How do i lubricant my treadmill
it is an indicator that the belt needs lubricating. turn the power off, and lift up one side of the belt and spray a small amount of lubricant underneath the belt, onto the running board. repeat this step on the other side. turn the treadmill on and run it for a few minutes to spread the lubricant. the oil light should now go off.
this should be repeated every 5-6 months to keep the board lubricated and to reduce friction between the belt and board and will lengthen the life of your treadmill.
My Reebok step is stuck on high setting
my wife has one and it sounds like you might have opened it up to far like she did. I had to pop off the plastic end caps (where the steps pivot) with a screw driver. Once the caps are off you'll see a c-clip on each side which you can remove by using a screwdriver and a small hammer to drive them off and once they're off you can remove the steps and re-install them at the lower position and then re-install the c-clips and plastic caps
