if it was a rear tire the key that locks the wheel to shaft probably is not in shaft either fell out when removed wheel or slid out when reinstalled.if u try to drive tractor have someone watch the axle to see if it spinns inside wheel. hope this helps

Look in the manual if you can find one. If not drop the deck and take a look at the linkage on the brake pedal. You may well find that the pedal connects to shoes which pinch a small disc in the transmission via a long rod which has an adjustment set of threads and a nut. Either replace the little shoes, or adjust the nut and threaded rod.

Could be, but test each item with your tester. Test key switch (12V in and 12 V out when turned to start., operator present switch 12V in 12V out (seat) Clutch switch, etc. till finally you test for 12V on the small terminal on the starter solonoid. Happy testing!

it sounds like the fuel pump on engine is going bad check fuel filter & if it doesn't work then possibly the fuel pump

Probably the seat switch or associated wiring. This 'safety' system is designed to kill the motor if you are not in the seat when you release the brake. Lift or remove seat, unmount the switch. Tape it in the pushed-in position. If this fixes the problem, the switch just isn't operating when you sit in the seat; examine the mounting and adjust if needed. If that doesn't fix it, the switch itself could be bad -- jump a wire across the contacts of the connector you pulled from the switch. If that fixes things, you know the switch is bad. Do a compression check on the dry cylinder.It could possibly have a bent push rod on the intake valve. If the pushrods are ok, look to see if the valve is coming all the way out when turning engine.(Take both spark plug wires off before cranking engine when checking valves so it won't start)

Are you sure you engine RPM's are high enough? If so adjust you carbs.high speed screw with the throttle in the wide open position.

The pto switch is also a safety switch, be sure it is disengaged

The transaxles have gears for forward and a chain for reverse. A broken chain could cause this. also check the shifter bracket if its faulty then this can be the reason.but if you replace the shifter bracket and still the same problem then it is also possible that it is just out of adjustment. the bracket is able to be moved back and forth once it is mounted and not completey tightened. You might try loosening the bolts and moving the bracket one way or the other to see if this helps.
