Bamix Deluxe Handheld Blender - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My mayonnaise won't work it is just runny
I believe the issue is more with the method of preparation. Try slowly adding the oil when preparation the mayo and that should alleviate the problem.
Good luck and Happy Eating,
Alex

25-30 year old Bamix M100 - 240V 100W
Those small plastig bungs do come out, you will need a fine probe to prise them out then you will see 2 philips head screws which hold it all together, not sure how you will tighten your shaft though, looks like it might be moulded into the plastic retainer, good luck! on mine the motor bearings are seized,
regards,
Dave Pary.

Making meringue with hand held bamix
Use the A blade and make sure whatever you are mixing the egg whites in is scrupulously free from any grease etc. Make sure the bowl is clean and dry before you use it.
Best wishes

Instruction manual for the bamix immersion blender
From the BAMIX.com website
Mayonnaise
1 egg (or 1 egg yolk)
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of herb vinegar
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
1 ½ - 2 cups of oil
1 teaspoon of french mustard
Put all the ingredients except the oil in a jug (not too large)
and blend well with the WHISK. Then add the oil in a thin, steady
stream (not drop by drop), processing all the time, until the
mayonnaise has reached the required consistency. To achieve perfect
results, all ingredients should be at the same temperature.

Shaft does not turn still vibrates
Same happened on mine. It is a M100. I pulled off the blade and guard (screws off the opposite way to normal), lifted the black rubber seal on the shaft as far out of the way as I could and cleaned it out. I then put a little WD-40 down the shaft and waited a while and twisted the shaft a little with pliers to work in the WD-40. After a few minutes it ran and fairly quickly came up to full speed.

Need to disassemble BAMIX (1972)
There many hinges in the the housing so you have anticipate the hinges and press them to open the housing or cabinet. It is not always visible or obvious for a common person to find out hinges. The way you can try is to look for joints and try pressing the cabinet everywhere. Where you can make more gap the hinge or release buttons are there most likely.
IT would be much better to approach a technician if you are not experienced to unfold the cabinet.

I have a bamix M200 hand blender & the shaft d...
After a period of time food residue will migrate up through the seal on the "foot" and lodge in the shaft. Once this is gummer up the motor will go but the shaft will not be able to rotate.
The machine will need to be disassembled and the shaft cleaned out. I recommend that you find your local Bamix Service Centre to do this as there are fragile parts in the stick mixer.
