Husqvarna Chain Saw 20" Bar - Page 5 Questions & Answers
Changing my fuel line on my husqvarna141 chain saw and after pulling line out cant figure out where it threads back in to tank
The 141 uses a a very small bore fuel hose, it feeds through the top of the crankcase under the carb, and into the top of the fuel tank, it is not easy to do without removing the fuel tank from the crankcase. To remove the tank, start by removing the air filter held with two screws, remove the two 8mm nuts securing the filter back plate and remove, remove the two 7mm studs securing the carb, and the two cross head screws securing the carb support plate, remove the carb and throttle wire, now remove the four screws securing the starter cover ( these screw into two of the anti vib mounts ) turn the saw over and remove the 4mm allen screw securing the chain catcher at the front corner of the saw, remove the single cross head screw at the rear top corner of the saw and remove the plastic orange cap, the tank will now come away with the top handle as a unit, you can now see and fit the fuel hose.
Husqvarna chain saw oiler
My Husky 36 did this. The oil pump drive gear was stripped and had to be replace. It's located under the flywheel/sprocket so you have to pull that. I couldn't find info on how to do that so had a local shop repair it for $70! Parts are cheap, labor is not.
REPLACING STARTER SPRING/HUSQVARNA MODEL141
To rewind the spring is a bit of an art, hook the end of the spring into the stub on the starter, now start to wind each coil into the cover, making sure you keep your thumb on the coils you have wound in so as they do not spring out, otherwise order a new spring which will come pre wound in a keeper to make instalation very easy.
Husqvarna 350 wont stay running?
ok, The choke is used to change the air/fuel mixture by "choking" off the air that goes to the carburator. The choke is only used to get the motor running in cold temperatures. Once the motor is started, the choke must be opened or the motor will flood and stall when you open the throttle.
I hope this solves your problem. Best wishes,

What is the fuel & oil mix for a chain saw
Husqvarna chainsaws run at a 50-1 fuel oil mix with Husqvarna two stroke oil, with other two stroke oils they recommend 25-1 fuel oil mix as they do not know the quaility of other manufacturers oil, always try to use Husqvarna oil.
Muffler falls off while running
If this is the Husqvarna 350, then there was an issue with the muffler coming loose, there was a retro fit muffler with a third fixing screw available, if the muffler comes loose there is a chance that it will melt the tank underneath, so you need to address this problem.
My husqvarna 575xp chain saw starts and runs for
The carburetor is not pumping fuel into it, but is running a short time on the prime. Check condition of the fuel line from inside the tank to the carburetor. Remove the carburetor and check for any blockage (including any screens), plus check the condition of diaphragms and check valves. You may need to clean and re-kit the rubber parts. Check the small port from the carburetor mount into the crankcase. Turn both H and L screws CW to stop, and CCW 1-1/2 turns each. That should get it running. Set H (after engine warm up) for highest speed, but 4-stroking. It should immediately 2-stroke with light load (cutting). Adjust L for highest idle speed, but allow the engine to follow the throttle without gasping.
Set up husquvarna 61
I'm afraid I don't have that information. You'll probably need to check with a certified Husqvarna mechanic to find that out.
