You need to have the ground attached to what you'll be welding on. Make sure there isn't anything on the end of your wire. Also, if your voltage is all the way down it won't do anything either. Oh, one more thing, make sure you have a contact tip on the end inside the cone. That will be the copper thing the wire goes through with a really small hole. I know some of this sounds pretty obvious but if I hadn't done these things at least once.....I wouldn't know what to look at either. I also don't know your experience level and want to cover all avenues. Hope you find it!

Serial number does not come up as a valid one. Check again.

Depending on how old you machine is, its possible that the wire feed rollers are worn causing the wire to slip in the grooves. Replacing the WFRs may solve the problem. Test this by watching the feed rollers as you pull the torch trigger, place a gloved hand over the nozzle as the wire comes out and watch to see if the rollers slip on the wire when the wire meets the resistance of the glove. If it does that likely the problem. Hope this solves the problem.

Can't help you with the year,but here's the owner's manual. The serial number should be a combination of two letter and six numbers, like: KK123456. The one you are posting it's not a serial number.

The trigger is bad in the gun. It sound like the spring is bad, or you have some junk in the trigger not alowing it to release. Remove and inspect/clean the trigger. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/matt_8dbc24bf722649ac

Your local welding shop supply will be able to give you advice, the guys at Lowes and farm supply shops just sell the welders

You may need to adjust the tension just in front of the wire spool
Your gun liner maybe shot

Inside your machine just in front of the wire spool is an adjustment to increase the tension on the wire tighten it a little bit at a time until your wire feeds

chances being this welder is probaby 30 amp. rated and you probably have amp. service at a lower rating change your breakers to 30 amp. or higher or you fuses i do hope this will help you,thank you.

I believe the circuit card assembly has failed. It is very rare that the motor is the problem.

Hi, yes it can be ugraded but,( theres always a but,) you will need a feed from the mains to a rated connection on the main fuse box, this is not a DIY job, certain rules and regulations prohibit the unqualified. the new line will run to it's own fuse box, then to wherever you want, garage or w/shop with electrical cable 1.5biger than your max (30 amps) best be safe , you cooker socket is thirty amp, but thats max, there are some people that would increase the fuse size, ending up,( If they arel lucky), for a total re-wire those unlucky guy's arn't around to tell the tale. contact your provider and get it safe.
