Electrical wiring

The CP-300 and CP-200 were never designed to run on single phase. You can buy a 3-phase generator (see military surplus) or a phase converter. You will need a pretty big one - like one rated for 20hp to use the full potential of the welder. That is also pretty expensive - say $1000. However, if you have a shop, you can buy used 3-phase equipment sometimes significantly cheaper than 2-phase stuff. So you buy that expensive converter and save money on all the other equipment you will buy. Or sell it. Or scrap it - some older welders had big copper wound transformers - a few hundred bucks worth of copper.... some had aluminum though... Good luck.

I have a millermatic 130 and the wire keeps

First thing to check is that you still have an inlet guide (plastic funnel like) before the drive rolls. This one can be dirty or have enough build up inside that makes the wire feed imposible. Change this one if possible, it will cost you around 5 bucks at your near welding shop. If everything looks ok, then make sure you have the right drive rolls size, 023 or 030 in this case. Then ckeck you liner if it has a kink or dirty in the inside (use compressed air to blow the inside of the gun) then it's useless, change it. Final will be the contact tip just replace it for the right size according to the wire size.

Too much tension would smash your wire and it would not run correctly. Are you sure you are using the correct size rollers for the wire you are using. Rollers come in various sizes and applications. A knurled roller is used for flux cored wire. Make sure you sizes match up. They are stamped on side of rollers. Good luck!

I have a millermatic 135 that does not want to

There is a large electrolytic capacitor probably clamped and bolted to the floor of the unit. Size-wise about as tall and fatter than a 12 oz. drink can. This supplies filtering to the DC used for the wire feed motor and since these wonders come from China, they don't live forever. If memory serves, it is 47,000 uFd @ 75 volts DC. You should verify that value, it's been a few years.
Since the nominal value of this exceeds the range of most RCL meters, it has to be replaced on faith or one can accept the reading one gets from such a meter since mine read on ~ 150 uFd., a fraction of its specified value.
I think you can get another (Chinese) capacitor (we aren't making these anymore) for ~$45 US from (or through) the dealer.

Wire won't feed or arc fan runns

Look for a reset button on the case. Make sure that you have power to the machine and at the power socket. If everything looks ok outside, you may have to investigate your warranty. Good luck!

Millermatic 140 w/ auto set powers on but will not

If its a new unit its probably nothing. Miller makes good stuff. Open the side so you can see the spool. With the machine on, press the trigger for a second. Did the little wheel spin (trying to feed the wire) if it did then your problem could be kinked wire, **** on tip, or spring on small spool is loose and wire is slipping. Let me know.
