My gprs network will show
Good Day,
Please check your network settings. Go to MENU>MANAGE CONNECTIONS>MOBILE NETWORK OPTIONS
There you will see:
Data Services > which should be "ON"
Mobile Network> your providers name
Network Selection: >Should be automatic
Network Mode: > depends on your network provider(CDMA or 1xev on most North american networks)
just check these settings specially the Data Services that should be on, just click on it to turn on.
Also the network mode should be correct.
Lastly you may check with your subscription, If you have a subscription plan on your network that supports Data services. You may want to call your provider with this settings. Specially the BIS subscription. They would be just happy to help you with that in case it is not yet activated.
Hope this helps you. Thank you for using Fixya.

Looks like you just change your original sim card with other network sim card. You must unlock your blackberry first before you can using other network in your phone. What you need is
blackberry 8830 unlock code from your original phone network sim card. You can get
blackberry unlock code from network provider or buy from third party sites which have lower cost rather than network provider.
