Forgotten password and other sign-in problems
Here's the info to get you back in to your account as quickly as possible.
First, try the easiest thing: if you remember your password but it isn't working, make sure that Caps Lock is turned off, and that your email address is spelled correctly, and then try again.
If your password still isn't working, it's time to reset your password.
Choose the reason you need your password reset, then click Next.
Enter the email address you used when you made your Microsoft account. This could be any email address, or an email ending in a Microsoft domain like hotmail.com or outlook.com.
Enter the characters you see on the screen (this lets us know you're not a robot), then click Next.
If you've added security info to your account, we'll send a one-time code to the alternate phone number or email address you gave us. After you enter that code on the next screen, you'll be able to make a new password.
1)Launch yahoo messenger and sign in, click "messenger" and select "prefernces"
2)Select "conversation history" and click "view conversation history"
3)Click on contacts name on left side, scroll through chat history on right side until you locate the conversation you want to delete/ click the "trash" icon that appears when youhover over the conversation, and click "delete"
If you are able to sign in on the website and you can access your email box. It is clear that your account is fine.
If you are unable to sign in on the mail website and it gives the same error. Then just wait for 24 hours, it will be unlocked.
It is not your fault some time people try to break in to your account and account is locked due to security reasons.
