Lg washer makes noise only during the agitation cycle

It sounds like the tub bearing is causing the problem. To replace this bearing is a massive task so a professional might be required to do the job.

I need to force my lg tromm to drain

My LG Tromm washer has a small door on the bottom left hand side on the front of the washer. Open the door and you will find the drain filter and a stoppered, small rubber tube. Position something to capture the washer water under the small rubber tube and pull the plug.. This will drain all the water from the washer.

Burnt smell bits of plastic found inside

A WM1814CW does not have a built-in water heater, so I think your load may have gotten trapped between the spinning tub and plastic front tub cover..Roll back the gray gasket to expose and check the plastic ring for signs of 'friction' burn..As long as the splinters are trimmed away and doesn't leak water you should be OK..Watch your loads..Don't Overload!

LG WM1814CW washer - doesn't fill with water.

Hi

If the washer won't fill you'll need to check for the water inlet hose, the water inlet valve and the pressure/water level switch assembly. Inspect the inlet hose coming to the washer for any blockages. If the hose is not clogged then check the water inlet valve for any clogs, if the water will not even fill for few seconds then certainly the water inlet valve is bad and should be replaced. You can also use a multimeter to check continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. However, if the valve is fine then the pressure/water level switch assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

I have an LG washer that will not unload water

Washer Won't Drain 1) Check your drain hose to make sure it's not kinked, plugged, or frozen 2) Check that the impeller for the drain pump isn't plugged. It's behind the service door at the bottom left front of the washer. If it's plugged remove the obstruction. If these solutions don't help you may wish to get an authorized tech in. The other possible causes include a disconnected or damaged connector (the front of the washer must be removed to access its location), a defective Drain Pump Assembly, or a defective Main PWB (system Board) Assembly. Additionally, diagnosing the last two causes involve significant dis-assembly, multimeter testing while the washer has power, and purchasing expensive parts ( Pump $60US, Board $190US). Finally, if you live in Canada there's a problem getting replacement parts; LG Canada's policy is to only supply parts to service providers. Additionally, while LG US will sell individuals parts, you would have to get any parts you need shipped to someone in the US who can then forward the parts to your Canadian address.

Why is my washing machine smelling like burnt rubber and filling up with black smoke on the spin cycle

I'm having trouble posting my answer. It keeps telling me to use English characters. I don't see any other types so I'm going to try in pieces. Also I did upload the LG service manual for this washer but they are reviewing it first.

Start/pause button is not working on my LG washing machine. All other buttons are working fine?

Problem maybe that the START/PAUSE button has broken loose from the control panel. All the buttons are attached to control panel and "hinged" so when you press the button, the button presses a small button switch on the display control. You may have to order the Control Panel.. Disassembly is required to inspect. It would be least likely that the Display PCB is bad..

Oe error code

The OE error code is related to incoming water flow. Make sure both your water lines are turned on. If your lines are turned on, turn the lines off and then disconnect the water lines. There is a small wire basket filter in each water inlet. Pull out each filter, clean out each filter and then re-insert the filters. Reattach the water lines and turn on the water. Make sure there are no water leaks. This should clear the OE error.

Wm1814cw le error cade

Make sure your drain hose is not bent - the code looks like a drain issue. It could be your drain pump. I had to take mine off and it was full of "gunk" and that can keep it from draining, causing that code. I have no affiliation with Home Depot, but they have a great web site showing how to get to the drain pump and how to take it off and clean it or probably just to replace it. Go in to the area to order the part and there should be an option to view a video on how to install it - not too hard, just follow directions. www.homedepot.com/ApplianceRepair 48de78f6-d540-4f0d-8488-f3f5c589abed.jpg 1bc73971-d1f5-473d-8b8f-f05840bc9002.jpg

Lg washer rotates but wont spin

There are a couple of magnetic sensors that can go bad and cause this to happen. This blog shows you have had 39 people help - so they probably told you the problems to check. I found the parts were cheapest at Home Depot Parts and you can return unused parts for up to one year - and they have really great videos on replacing each part. I ordered all 3 parts and then started with the easiest sensor on the back wall of the washer and got lucky as that was the problem. But, the other repairs are not too hard, once you see the video. I disconnected my washer and moved it to the garage to have more room and then just hooked up the water hose to the back extension cord for power. It only took a couple of hours to do everything. Now, I could do the entire repair in about 30 minutes or less. Here is the website if you want to use Home Depot: www.homedepot.com/applianceRepair

My LG intello won't switch on can you help

There can be so many things causing issues with a washing machine, if you haven't already, getting a certified appliance repair person to drop by is the safest. If you had an error code, flashing lights, or something I could work with, that'd be a different story.

Why does my LG WM1814CW's timer get stuck during cycles, A 28 Min cycle will take 45 Min.

It could likely be that this is during a fill portion of the wash or rinse cycle, and the water inlet is restricted not allowed the full flow into the tub. If this is the case, check both ends of the hose connections for a plugged / restricted filter. run some water into a container with hose off to purge any additional minerals from the intake.
