Not spinning while doing the wash

Some times you need to add some towels on light loads. I have an LG frontloader service manual. It will give an idea how to access components for testing. HERE If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/dan_73bbd84fe1d95b61

LG washer wm1832c

I had the same error code along with the drum "freezing" up. The first unit that was delivered 2 years ago leaked water from the detergent compartment and they sent a second unit. I have only had this unit for 2 years and I am very disappointed in the LG product. LG was no help on the phone and I the only people that could service it were 45min away from were I live. I took the advice of a posting on this website that it could be a part called the sensor assembly (#6501KW2002A) and ordered it from an online electronics store (www.mcminone.com). To get to the sensor assembly, you first unplug and take off the back plate that has 4 small screws. Next, unscrew the big bolt in the middle and take off the hubcap looking part the bolt was securing. Next unclip the two sets of wires on the bottom of the circle you are looking at (the set of wires to the right are connected to the sensor assembly you want to replace). Next you will unscrew the 6 or so smaller bolts to take off the circular piece that the sensor assembly is snapped to. Take it off, unclip the old sensor assembly and clip on the new one – and reassemble. This worked perfectly for me and the part only cost $18 bucks plus shipping. When working, this product works well but I will not be purchasing any LG products in the future.

I have roughly the same problem. The machine

Pump. Probably got something stuck in or near it. Get underneath, check out filters and squeeze the pipes on the way toward the pump. You'll probably find a sock in there :-)

How do i replace the door boot seal on a wm1814cw

Follow these steps to replace your door seal:
Disconnect all power to the machine first!!
1 Locate the outer clamp band securing the seal to the door rim on the washing machine and examine it carefully for holes or tears. Many can be prised off with a flat-bladed screwdriver they have a spring system holding them, but some have a tensioning arrangement that has to be loosened.
2 After removing the outer clamp band, locate the inner one securing the seal to the drum and establish how this is secured. It may be necessary to loosen a clip, or you may be able to prise the band off with a flat-bladed screwdriver. Some are like very large Jubilee clips that you have to undo usually from the top.
3 Once the clamp bands have been removed, use both hands to pull the seal away from the inner drum rim. Some machines have a water spout holes that will have to be lined up. Others have a drain holes.
4 Rubbing a drop of washing up liquid into the groove on the door seal/gasket that locates on the drum makes fitting the new seal easier.
5 the new washing machine door seal should be fitted by locating the drain holes at the bottom of the seal first then push it on with both hands working opposite directions towards the top. This is quite hard if you have never done it before.
6 refit the inner band remembering this must be tensioned correctly for it to be water tight.
7 now fit the outer band and the test the machine for any leaks,

We're attempting to label circuit breakers in our

Hello

It could have been the washer at one time but the breakers got moved around over time. The washer should be on its own 20amp circuit. What size is the breaker? 20amp? 15amp? It is on the tip of the switch of the breaker. If it's a 20amp it should be for the kitchen or dining room outlets. It could also be for an air conditioner in the window. If it's a 15amp then it could be for lighting or other outlets other than the kitchen, dining room or ac outlet for window ac. That's just the basics. How old is the house? I've seen some really mixed up wiring in older houses. You could also buy a "Sperry" circiut breaker finder for about $50. It has a outlet plug that connects to an outlet and another handheld scanner that you scan the breakers with to find the correct breaker so that you can label it.

Leak from washer somewhere

if its leaking from the door, replace the boot seal. Anywhere else, you need to take the back and/or front off and find where it is coming from. The drain hoses or drum itself.

After the first cycle, the washer does not start

I am not a repair professional. I am just a 78 year old
man who has been making his own repairs for about
50 years. Therefore the washer or dryer ID doesn't
mean much to me. I came to fixya looking for a
schematic for an really old AM/FM radio and
discovered that more than 4,700 people were asking
for help with a washer repair. I recently had a washer
repair of my own and found an excellent video which
showed me how to take my machine apart. This
video made it possible for me to do my own repair. I
was so impressed with the video that when I saw all
these people needing help, I wanted to tell them
about it. If you have a top loader (washer) of the
direct drive type, this video might be a Godsend for
you. If you look at the back of your washer and the
panel is solid (no small inspection plate to remove)
chances are you have a direct drive and this video
is just what you need. You can see this video at
www.acmehowto.com You will probably need
more help in determining what the problem is and
how to fix it. If your repair problem is a washer or
dryer I suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com
where they have very good trouble shooting and
repair information on most washers and dryers.
I think you'll find what you need there. Don't worry
about the timer, they hardly ever go bad. Good
luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my
advice on fixya.

Le code on display panel

HI. This code represents a failed motor(hall sensor failure) Check the Motor harness for worn connections and separated wiring contacts. If the harness is connected properly, this will confirm motor failure. Replace the electric motor in this case.
