My lg washer appears to be leaking from the soap tray area, what needs to be replaced and how?

The hose from the soap drawer to the tub may be split. These hose have flexible ridges and its common for them to split inside one of the ridges.

Buttons not working on lg washer

I had this problem with another model LG washer dryer and the problem was just the tiny switch (6mm x 6mm) on the circuit board had worn out. They cost about 30 pence on eBay and are very easy to remove and re-solder onto the circuit board as there are only 2 pins. This saved a huge amount of money for a new control board.

Suds leaking out a port on back of washing machine LG WM4070H*A

I did all the steps to ensure was right soap and amount, used cleaning tablets to keep odor down. I took it in my own hands and made an overflow and vent. Self explanatory with pictures. More than a year, no suds, no odors. the exit has a short incline to avoid normal splash and the fan on secondary catch chamber keep a constant low air movement. Two outdoor electrical boxes, fan, and pvc, I know, overkill.... Hope it helps someone.

LG Tromm Not Dispensing Bleach

My wife has been complaining that the bleach and fabric softener dispenser still had water in it after washing. After removing the top to the washer I found that there are 4 components to the dispenser. 1. the solenoid (part of a 3 solenoid bundle) for the cold water, 2 the controller to the solenoid 3. The hose from the solenoid to the dispenser, and 4. The dispenser. After checking that there were no kinks in the hoses. I checked the solenoid found it had power at the right time but the flow was low. I shut off all the water and disconnected the lines going into the back of the washer I found that the cold water filters were clogged. After cleaning them (there were 2 for each hot and cold) The washer worked correctly.

Lg tromm washer leaking from front door

We have the same problem with our LG washer. Don't think the door can be adjusted but I'm not for sure. I think the gasket is wore out but haven't checked on fixing the problem yet because it barely leaks.

LG WM3001HPA washer (front load) - have to drain

Your drain pump assembly impeller has most likely deteriorated. I just replaced the assembly on my unit. There are actually two small motor/pumps. I would recommend replacing them both. You will find the videos of how to do this on youtube. I bought the parts off of Amazon

LG Tromm washer constant DE door error problem

A DE Error Code is indicative of a “Door Error”. This indicates that the washing machine door is not shutting, locking or opening. This means that there is something faulty with the door switch and locking mechanism . You should get this replaced or you may have water where you do not want it. biigg53566

Wm2277hw is leaking water from the bottom...

Easiest start is to take the top off and check for leaks maybe using a flashlight. Top comes off by removing a couple of screws in back, the sliding it rearward about 3 inches and then lifting up. Good luck. Report back what you find. Use comments.

Switch to powdered detergent. You'll be much happier in the long run. Liquid detergent leaves a residue. Eventually the residue mildews. Powered detergent leaves no residue. Plus you will solve your current issue. Also skip the softener and use plain white vinegar in its place. The vinegar helps eliminate mildew and it also helps release Dey from your clothes in the rinse cycle.

Suggest try same again. Modern appliances have a zillion circuit connections of which any one of them can develop a "bug". Unless it is under warranty it's usually less trouble and cost to simply replace it.

Does anyone know how to remove the top cover of

Disconnect the LG front load washer power cord from the wall outlet. Turn off the water supply to the washer at the water spigots coming from the wall. Pull the washer 3 feet away from the wall, and disconnect the water supply hoses from the water inlet valve ports on the back of the washer. You may need a pair of channel lock pliers to loosen the hose connections. Remove the screws securing the back of the top panel to the back of the washer with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Depending upon your model, you will have either two or four screws to remove. Lift the back of the top panel up, and slide the top panel toward the rear wall, which will unhook the top panel from the clips securing the panel in the front of the washer. Lift the top panel off the washer and out of your working area.

Washer stinks when the water goes IN.

As water goes in, it vents air out back of washer. Try adding a cup of bleach to tub, fill softener dispenser with bleach and run an empty load on the hottest setting possible. You have mildew built up on outer drum. Do this once a week for awhile until smell goes away. Stop using softener. It leaves a residue in drum that can mildew. Use powdered detergent instead of liquid. The liquid also leaves a residue. Use plain white vinegar in place of softener on every load. It helps stop mildew since it is slightly acidic and as a bonus it helps remove soap residue from your clothes-plus it's inexpensive compared to softener. Leave door ajar after every wash and wipe down rubber door gasket on all sides. Good luck.
