I had this problem and I was able to fix it. The water pump was fried. That pump is between the water reservoir and the steam generator. It apparently is the water detection sensor as well. The part was easy to replace-- it's literally a drop in part. All you need to do is take off the top of the dryer, unplug the leads to the pump, pull it out, and put the new one in. The part was about $100.

Unplug the dryer. Disconnect the vent hose from the wall and clear any lint etc. from the opening. Anything clogged with lint will continue to cause the heating element to "trip" for safety reasons.
Open the top by pressing in on the hidden metal clips on the right and left front (there is a small gap below the top section) Use a putty knife or screw driver to press in on the clips. Lift up like a car hood and then prop it up while you're working. Next open the dryer door. Remove the two screws on either side of the lower opening. Now lift the front up and out, set off to the left side as it is still connected by a wire. Look into the lower right side of the dryer with a flashlight. The reset button is located between the two wires that attach to the outside of the cylindrical drum at the 7 o'clock position. You need to be lying on the floor so you can reach your hand in. It is about halfway into the dryer. Press the button. Now reassemble the dryer before you start it up again. For a gas dryer - let it run and you should hear it "fire" up within a minute and the heating will begin.

You dryer has several "overheat thermostats" located at various places inside your machine.They are to prevent fires caused by overheating. I suspect one of them is defective, or you have another problem which is causing one to shut your dryer off. The dryer is shutting off to prevent a fire.Be blessed

I think you can "pop" the top off using a screwdriver..... It might be the heating coil. Look for breaks in the coil or can use a volt/ohm meter to check it...

dryer working and heating properly, when cycle complete all my clothes smell like gas though. Any suggestion

With the drum out, facing the dryer, it's on the left side, mounted on the exhaust baffle, close the the high limit thermostat. It has one wire leading to it.

This could cause motor fan system to lock up if gets caught in fan also could brake open staining clots should be taken apart and recovered b4 useing front of dryer need to come off

There is no reset button on this machine, by turning off the power for about 2 to 3 minutes the memory on the control board will clear. Failing this, there is a problem on this control board.

To reboot the computer turn the breaker off waite a few minutes and turn back on. The breaker is not part of the dryer but it is located in either the main box or one added for the dryer.

To enable the Child Lock feature: Press and hold RACK DRY and ANTI BACTERIAL for 2 seconds. A single DEEP Tone is heard, and CL is displayed. To unlock, press and hold RACK DRY and ANTI BACTERIAL for 2 seconds. The indicator light turns off.
