How do the wires hook up to batteries
On many chairs, there will be two wires from the chair to the batteries, one coded red and one black, and a short jumper cable. Park the batteries so the terminals are close to the other battery. Connect the red cable to one +/positive terminal. Connect the black cable to the -/negative terminal ON THE OTHER BATTERY. Connect the jumper between the unused + and - terminals.
On many makes and models, the cables are just the right length to hook everything up in a precise way so you may have to think about how to position everything to work.
On some chairs, there is a battery topper that has 4 cables and a master plug that plugs into the chair. These can be a bit trickier to figure out the 'right' configuration, but the basic idea is the same- one from the chair to the +, one to the -, and two that connect the two batteries together.

My jet3 ultra won't stay on
Chances are you batteries are beyond their usable life and need replacement -OR- you have a disconnect between either battery and the chair. Please check to make sure the circuit breaker isn't popped, all the fuses under the shrink-wrap on the positive terminals are good and that the battery connectors are seated properly. If the batteries each measure 12-14 volts at the battery post while the chair is plugged in and either drop below 10volts when unplugged then your batteries need replacing.

Batteries charge but they drain quickly
If your batteries are over 3-years old or are a poor quality (Werker, ISO, Long, no-name, etc) then you need to replace the batteries. Many independent battery dealers can load test and test for internal resistance. Both tests will determine if there is a battery issue.
It is best to always replace these gel or sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries as a pair.
The Pride Mobility Jet 3 typically takes two each size U1 batteries. i.e.: GPC1234 or UB12350.

New batteries wont charge???.
I had same problem. I found a Zip Tie had dug in the wires that only effected the charging not the controlling part. Till the Zip Tie dug in farther, till it cut another wire, preventing the chair to move. That's is when I discovered it. After finding this out, my old batteries were probably good. I just assumed it was their end of life

Steer linkage broken on a frontier pf1 scooter made by imc heartway
I have had a search for parts but as with many chairs/scooters they are not listed. so looks like your only options are take to dealer and get fixed,
find a blacksmith that can make a new link
you might even try a school with metal work rooms, and ask if they can help.
or keep your eyes open on eBay and try to find the part or non working scooter to take the part off, and have other spares. if you find other parts for your scooter email the seller and ask if they have the link, many people only list more expensive parts when they break a scooter.
what ever if you can get the part made or direct from dealer get a back up, always good to have spares.
hope that helps.regards, mark.
