I have a DR250 and

I've run into this from time to time, usually have to fix it with two pairs of channel locks, one on each collar on the chuck. With the drill facing you, hold the inner collar steady and turn the outer collar counter-clockwise.The chuck should not stick like that under normal circumstances (mine only did it when it got full of sawdust), so there may be a mechanism issue and there is a fair possibility that you will break the chuck doing this repair. That being said, 30 bucks is reasonable for a new one, and it's not doing you much good jammed like that.

My DR201 works great in

All you have to do is take the model number and go to Sears to order a trigger switch. Take the cover off of the drill, take the wires off the old switch, and put the new one in. It is super simple.

How do i remove the

This drill has a 2-level chuck handle. one is slightly larger diameter, or is closer to drill body. It is fixed to the motor shaft. Smaller diameter, or forward one is the adjustment. Hold the rear/larger one stationary and twist the smaller/forward one as if you were opening a water bottle with a really tight lid.
