LG 24 in. LDF7810 Built-in Dishwasher Questions & Answers
WHEN OPENING THE DISHWASHER DOOR, IT DROPS QUICKLY.
Actually I found out that for a LG dishwasher it is as likely to be the cable/cord attached to the spring and door. This a very odd setup in that this cable is made of nylon cord, and not any thicker than a round shoelace! It clearly should be metal cable, and it's not that hard to replace the nylon stuff with steel. Anyway, it is worth it to pull the unit out and open the side panel to see if in facts it's a broken cord or spring first before ordering any parts.

Leaking water on the right hand side
Does it seem to be coming from the door it self or from underneath the unit?
If it's coming from the door, check the seal or maybe replace it. It's easy enough and cheap.
(disconnect power before proceeding to the next step)
If it's coming from underneath the unit, first start a cycle to drain it then stop it. Pull the unit out and flip it to its side(have a couple towels ready), then remove the bottom cover and check hoses connects or any signs of leakage.

Could be a bad VIRO motor. It moves a valve to change water flow between bottom spray arm and top spay arm about every 2 minutes of the wash cycle. You have to pull the dishwasher and lay it on it's back or side to change it, but you only need a phillips screwdriver.
