I have the LG LP1200DXR and it is leaking near the
All air conditioners collect condensate. It has to drain somewhere. Try connecting tubing to the drain hole or port. In order for air conditioners to remove heat from a space, they also remove humidity, which is water vapor in the air. Like placing a cold beverage in a warm room, it will form condensate (water) around it. The water that you were trying to drain out already leaked out. This is a normal thing for condensation to form when cooling. The condensate needs to be emptied regularly or piped with flexible tubing to a window or plumbing. This is the same as water dripping from your car while the A/C is on.

Ac unit keeps reading fl
After reading over the Owner's Manual for your unit, I wonder if you are operating it in the Cool & Dry Mode. If that's the case, the dehumidifier is in operation, which would account for having to drain the unit every 2 to 3 hours. Ideally, the Cool and Dry Mode should only be operated for about an hour, when the unit is first started . Removing the humidity will allow the AC function to cool more effectively. But, it is not necessary for it to remain in Cool & Dry mode all the time. Because the AC itself unit will remove some humidity too.
Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the issue of having to drain the unit every 2 to 3 hours

Low charge
It still has a leak, just a small one. This needs to be found and fixed. Check all flexible connections first, look for signs of oil, it comes out with the refrigerant.

My LG LP1200DXR Portable Air
Actually, your unit was not designed for continuous draining. It needs water in the tank to help cool the coils. I'm sort of surprised that the unit hasn't stopped cooling or hasn't overheated. Since you haven't seen any water in the drain tank you have, it may have pasted the point of no return. Disconnect the hose, reinstall the drain plug and hope that you have to start emptying the tank again, soon.
Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

LG 1210 BXR portable air
In AC mode, the unit still has some dehumidifying properties. So, it may
be that there is more humidity in the air this Summer, than in prior
years. Having to empty the tank every 24 hours is not unusual. Be sure
that the air intake filter is clean & check the exhaust hose for
obstructions.
Hope this helped you & thanks fr choosing FixYa.

Why does the compressor on my lg 12000 unit
Hi,
Either the unit is low on freon or the freeze sensor is bad...sensor or control board that is....
Anyway the coil is either getting too cold or the unit thinks the coil is too cold and is shutting down...
You will have to troubleshoot the exact problem or have someone check it for you...
