My Toshiba Satellite A305-S6858 keeps restarting

On the computer manager, go to the device manager and disable the processors. It worked for me like a charm after several attempts to restore it to original settings and formatting the hard drive. It doesn't affect performance, it seems to be more a failure of the drivers than the hardware.

My A305-S6857 freeze every time when I tried to login..

Try doing a startup repair by pressing F8 repeatedly on startup. On the options menu, choose 'repair my computer'. If this isn't successful you can try running your antivirus software in safe mode to check for any infections. Press F8 as before and choose safe mode. If this works, you can also check your event viewer to see if there are any system errors recorded: control panel>system and security>administrative tools>event viewer. Expand the critical and error menus under 'summary of administrative events' You can double click on an event for further detail and the event ID which may help you troubleshoot the problem further.

Toshiba satellite A305-S6857 - how to replace the

Replacing the DC Power Jack on this model of Toshiba Satellite A300 series, is SWEET!

{The Toshiba Satellite A305-S6857 Notebook PC, is part of the Toshiba Satellite A300 series of Notebook PC's}

No de-soldering, or soldering is needed.
The DC Power Jack is a DC Power Jack Harness.

The DC Power Jack is connected to a cable (Wires) that end in a connector, and the connector plugs into the motherboard.

To repair the problem you just replace the power jack harness.

A) Guidance given with instructions, and a pictorial guide, (Click on each photo to enlarge),

http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-A305/laptop-disassembly-process-1.htm

The above is Page 1.
To go to Page 2, and Page 3 ,click on the white page number at the top, or bottom of the page.
{Page 1::Page2::Page 3::Find another model }

Page 2, Step 17 shows you the DC Power Jack Harness, and where it connects on the motherboard. (Small white rectangular connector)

B) This is a link to a free Service Manual for the Toshiba Satellite A300 series of Notebook PC's,

http://www.tim.id.au/blog/tims-laptop-service-manuals/#toc-toshiba

Go down to the 11th line. The one that starts with Satellite A10.
Scroll across, and click on > A300

This is a PDF file.
Allow up to 30 seconds after you click on the file name A300, for the first page to come up.
It may also take additional time for the file to fully download.

C) Remove ALL power to the laptop before you begin.
Remove the AC adapter (Charger) and Battery

D) Observe Anti-Static Precautions

It is Advised to buy and wear an ESD wrist strap, and connect the alligator clip to a good ground source.

{For one example I connect the alligator clip to the metal frame of an empty desktop computer case}

Your body carries Static electricity.
Static WILL fry out (Short Circuit) the hardware components inside a computer.

Using an ESD wrist strap, and connecting to a good ground source, will relieve your body of Static, and help to ensure your laptop is safe from Static shock.

E) Use a multi-compartment container for the various screws you will remove.
Mark each compartment for the area the screw/s come out of.

There may be as many as 60 screws, and 12 different types.
Do NOT mix them up!

If no multi-compartment container is available, you can substitute with a clean egg carton.
Mark each egg holder.

F) Make a record as you disassemble. It's nice to have a record you can go back to in case you are interrupted, and to have a record that YOU understand.

Make notes and drawings, use a camera, or video cam if available.
{Use Good lighting}

My computer keeps freezing

it could be a number of issues. Over heating, faulty memory, or other fault.

to improve the airflow in your latop use canned air to blow dust out form the fan and the holes that the laptop has.

Memory could be tested with a memory testing software.
http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

this software is started from a cd or a floppy, it needs to be burned into a cd or written into a floppy
http://www.ntfs.com/iso-burning.htm

the computer needs to start the cd to run the test, to start from the cd, look at the screen when powering the computer up, it will say on some part of the screen to press Button to enter bios or boot menu, if you see boot menu press on that button when the message is shown and ones you are on the boot menu select the cd drive and press enter to start from it.

if you don't then you would need to edit the boot order in the bios

here's info on how to work the bios: http://www.whitecanyon.com/how-to-change-boot-order.php

let me know how the memory test goes.

If the test is OK and no errors come up, then I would suggest that you do a fresh installation of windows to your computer from either the windows xp installation cd or the recovery discs that may have come with the laptop.

Is the product key for Microsoft office 2013 the same as all product keys for 2013 Microsoft offices that operate under laptops using windows 8.1?

The product key is associated with the MS Office 2013 software, not the specific MS Windows version of Operating System - unless the MS Office lists a minimum version of OS ie: "Windows 8.0" In this case, it would not install on Windows 7. Otherwise, you should be able to install it on Windows 7, Windows 8, or later.

Japanese Visa Application with COE denied. Why?

How to Get Employment Security With Correct Japan Work Visa Japan is no different from other developing nations whereby grass seems greener on its side of the pasture. It attracts its fair share of foreign businesses as well as nationals seeking to work within its lands. Albeit many adhere to immigration procedures, some choose to test their limits on the basis of ignorance or defiance. By understanding the different types of work visa in Japan, it assures its foreign workers a continual stream of income with no threat of arrest and deportation. Visa simply infers the status of residence. Citizens obviously have no need of it as they automatically satisfy qualifications to freely reside in their country of birth. As for those of alien status who wish to join the local workforce, there should be a category to match one's requirement. Since most countries strive to improve the overall quality of life, professionals are generally welcomed to contribute knowledge and skill. Unskilled labor is normally not granted a visa to avoid flooding and dilution of the workforce. The visa is awarded in accordance to one's area of expertise. Supported with proof of relevant experience, it is based on the field of involvement whilst working in the country. In the event one's work scope changes from one expertise to another, it is essential to apply for a visa under the new circumstances. Different types of work visa in Japan also apply to foreign companies seeking to conduct local business. Domestic companies based abroad wishing to set up a local point of presence need to provide supporting documents to justify internal transfer of foreign workers. Governmental staff for diplomatic duties is assigned a category for legal residence. Over and above the general groupings, designated activities also garner approval from the authorities. Domestic service for non-native residents and citizens of certain nations on working holidays fall into this category of working visa. This, by no means, is the end of the list as it is best to consult the authorities on which visa serves best.Click Here For More Details: http://japanjobandvisaservice.com/blog/change-your-luck-when-apply-work-visa
