Reading the manual it does say that there is a temperature range for these. I"m not sure where you live but it might be cold enough that it is damaging the transducer in the off winter months.

Do you need a battery or a charger ... a battery is rated in mah and a charger is ma or amperes. 1000 ma is the same as 1 ampere.

I am a bit reluctant to answer this question as it may sound like I am being rude, but here goes. Type the name into google. It will tell you this is a discontinued product, and will also tell you the nearest service place to contact which will probably be a Lowrance agent. Call them and ask if it can be repaired. If so send it to them with a note explaining what the problem is. If it cannot, throw it in the bin and buy a new one. Easy.

The impedance match most likely won't. I advice you not to attempt. Replace with matching Eagle model transducer.

1.Check the online fuse on your unit and be sure it is still intact.
2.Look at the connector on the back of the unit and be sure there are no bent pins.
3. Check the battery voltage and verify it's reading 12 volts or more.
4. Check the voltage at the connector to be sure you are getting power to the unit.
5. If you've accomplished all of this and there is power to your unit and it still won't turn on then it's time to invest in a new unit.

Hi Mike The transducer (depending on which one you have) should be mounted to the hull of the boat. If a transom mount, at the back of the boat of course and if a through-hull or in-hull ducer in an area that provides good contact with the water at all times. You shouldn't mount the transducer on the motor. I was unable to find a reference anywhere to the Fishmark DE. -Steve

Hi I think your best bet here would be to contact the manufacturer directly on this one. (link below) The trouble is... is the unit worth putting $ into or would you be better off buying a newer model. You MIGHT get lucky and find a similar unit on ebay, but unless you're REAL handy with electronic repair I doubt if you would get any joy.
