I got motorola MC9090 when you scan barcode it keeps going on small letters and i want it to be always on big letters
That will probably only be adjusted in the actual barcode software that you are using within the mc9090 .. at the moment I am hundreds of miles away from my 9090..but if you still have not resolved this problem. Check to see what the name of the software thats actually turning on to decode the barcodes. It should have a setting...or let me know the name of the software and I'll do some research. I'm not an expert, but have fought with my 9090 for years. I've actually reached its data capabilities and have it sitting on the shelf as relic now
How to change host on mc9090
Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) allow mobile computers to communicate wirelessly and send captured data to a host device in real time. Before using the mobile computer on a WLAN, the facility must be set up with the required hardware to run the wireless LAN and the mobile computer must be configured. Refer to the documentation provided with the access points (APs) for instructions on setting up the hardware. To configure the mobile computer, a set of wireless applications provide the tools to configure and test the wireless radio in the mobile computer. The Wireless Application menu on the task tray provides the following wireless applications: • Wireless Status • Wireless Diagnostics • Find WLANs • Manage Profiles • Options • Enable/Disable Radio • Log On/Off Tap the Signal Strength icon to display the Wireless Applications menu

Is it possible to place icons (shortcuts) on the MC9090 to gain quick-access to programs? If so, how is it done?
Hope this answers your question. First go to the .EXE file you want to be on the desktop. Touch and hold to pull open the sub-menu of that app. Select "Copy". Now go to the desktop. Find an empty section. Touch and hold down to open the sub-menu. Now select "Paste Shortcut". This will put a shortcut on the desktop for you. It will show the word "Shortcut" at the beginning of the title now, which is kind of a pain. A simple "Rename" can fix that though. That should do it!

have you been able to configure a WiFi profile using the on board utility? If not and if you don't have the icon at the bottom right of the screen you will be able to find it in the windows folder. If you have a profile setup, does it have a yellow ! icon on it if so, use the icon on the bottom right then> options > Regulatory in the drop down menu > and untick 'Enable...' boxIf you have DHCP setup in the profile you may not be getting an IP address, you can check this in the status option from the pop up menu (bottom right).if you are not getting an IP Address, check all your settings in your WiFi profile.I normally start with a un-encrypted network to test the unit, then add encryption after you get it all working. You will need admin rights for the AP you are using.Additionally i have found that some units don't like TKIP type networks with out a software update.Hope this lot helps.
