In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. Most likely the main mother board of the TV is the problem. The main board controls everything inside the TV from audio to video and TV program software.
There maybe loose connection to the main board or the board is starting to go bad.

Reverts eventually means there is some looseness some where. Please check connectors and cables between power supply- TCON, TCON- Panel and main board-TCON. If you cant do it show it to some qualified technician.

Most likely you have a faulty LCD panel tabs. This can be verified sometimes by turning set on and tapping or squeezing the top left side of the TV. The only true fix is to replace the panel. I've been told that Samsung may offer to replace the panel or give you a discount on a new TV. Samsung is know to have LCD panels with premature tab failure. So it may be worth while to contact Samsung and see what they can do for you. There are videos on youtube that show case the problems and show you how to patch the problem. just type in "LCD panel tab" in the youtube search box.

My solution to that pixelation color problem was replacement of the flat wire connected to the Tuner board and video data board,must be new and original replacement part. I clean the terminals(don't brush just spray on)with electronic contact cleaner,let it dry or blow dry with hair dryer to vaporize left over liquid on both boards.Reason these flat wire problem is due to environmental(moisture)corrosion and breakage of the folded parts of the wire. I tested the replaced part and found breaks or cut ,we call it in electronic term"open connection".

A couple of weeks ago,
It will be good to have a ccheck within and see if there is any visible indications of failure. check if power capacitors have bulged out if so replacce.
But I thnk the possible fault can be soldering faults/problems in the drive/converrgence circuits.
Dry soldering is the greatest enemy and I think that the parts exposed to heat / cool in due course of time have the drying of the solder.
So use a good iron carefuly not to bridge circuits but to solder suspeccted joints. IC pins and connector joints. use good quality solder with good lighting .
