The nut that holds the blade is loose and liquid
It sounds like the blade has overheated at some point. When this happens the plastic melts and the seal is broken. The only repair is to replace the blade unit:

Seems like motor has lost power
This sounds like the black rubber coupler has broken. The teeth often get knocked off. Have a look at the part shown in hte pictures here:

Does the motor still work if you take the pitcher off of the base? If so, the rod that's in the blade assembly is probably corroded. The blades are connected to a metal rod that passes through a brass tube through to the piece that makes contact with the motor when you put the pitcher on the base. The grease wears down eventually and if you don't pulse and run the motor for a long time at once, the heat can corrode the bar and cause the blade to stop spinning. You can either disassemble the blade unit, or buy a new blade unit online. google blender parts and you can get one for $10
Oil Leak-Stand mixer
Leaking of oil in a stand mixer is not necessarily indicative of a large problem.
Kitchenaid
stand mixers are overpacked with oil to last the lifetime of the motor.
If the motor sits idle for some time (is not used), the oil may begin
to drip from the gears and settle. Oil leakage may primarily be seen
from around the beater shaft or planetary action.
A stand mixer can lose up to a 1/4 cup of oil before it needs to be serviced.
It
is recommended to run the mixer on speed 10 for 2 minutes in order to
redistribute oil back into the motor. In order to prevent future
occurences, this is recommended to be done every 3 weeks if mixer is
not being used.
Kitchenaid Blender Classic
Same thing happened to me. Opened it up and along the red wire to the motor is a bass fuse. Went to the hardware store and then I replaced it. Works fine.

Pitcher stuck on base
You will likely need to replace the beaker anyway, the drive which is now melted to the motor coupling is only supplied as part of the beaker/blade assembly. You will also need a motor coupling.
Why does Kitchenaid blender KSB655 have burning smell during operation?
If it is not something to do with the coupling (rubber one on the jug bottom and hard plastic one on top of the motor) then I'd be checking that the cutter shaft is not getting hot. If it was the motor playing up normally they pop into error and stop with flashing lights. The switch panels give very little trouble.
