How to separate coupler
Assemble it with motor secure and base & feet on. Drill 3 or 4mm hole in edge of coupling Put screwdriver into hole on a large angle and whack the handle to undo the coupling. You are whacking it to turn in the same direction it turns when the motor is running.
Diishwasher not cleaning
1. Make sure your spinners are not blocked when your dishes are loaded. 2. Make sure you are using a good enzymatic cleaner like "Electrasol." This type of cleaner eats the food off of dishes and it is very effective. 3. Make sure the water is HOT when your dishwasher is running (open it during the cycle and check the temperature.4. Lastly, consult your manual or an online manual for troubleshooting tips for your model when it appears to stop cleaning.
Ice maker not working and the red light inside is blinking

Older KitchenAid blenders had a jar that was
made so the blade assembly could be removed for cleaning. On the newer models
the blender jar and the blade assembly are all one unit so you have to purchase
a new jar to get the blade assembly. All of this is dependent on which
model of blender you have.

How do i turn the bottom piece off the blender?
If it's like many other units, you can unscrew the bottom, BUT its a left-hand thread! (this is so as the blades spin colckwise, they don't unscrew the clear plastic body from the base if they trap stuff against the side).

We put the top part of aur bleander through the dishwasher all the time... no problems....just take it off of the base and unscrew the chopper from the jar...throw the little parts in the utensil cup and you are good to go...
