When dishwasher drains the water
It's most likely that the filters in your dishwasher are blocked, the best way to clean them is to remove the filters from the bottom of the dishwasher, place them in the racks and run through the hottest wash cycle. It also helps to have a dishwasher cleaner inside the machine at the same time, these are available from most places that sell the dishwasher powder.

I have a brand new whirlpool DU1055XTV5
Have installer come back to you, sounds like a pump problem, blockage, timer, ...is outlet hose kinked at all? It usually goes into the kitchen sink drain below.

How to replace front metal panel
Usually (in most Whirlpool models), if you open the door and look, you will see 8 to 10 screws around the perimiter of the door. Remove those, and the outer door panel will come loose from the inner panel. Now just lift the door up a little bit (an inch) to remove it from the 2 catches at the bottom, and you should be able to remove the outer door panel. If you need further help, reach me via phone at

Probably because the locked up setting needs to be removed or changed. I have never owned a dishwasher. My advice is to remove the dishwasher and sell it. Then soak your dirty cutlery and crockery in hot soapy water in your sink for about twenty minutes, then wash them yourself. Don't be lazy. You have to load and unload a dishwasher anyway.

Whirlpool dishwasher wdf310plab4 will not drain
If the pump can be heard running, check for blockages (filter and hose), What sort of head (siphon height) is involved ? (ie. is water running back). Do you have a "check valve".
If no no pump then ....
a) check you are at the start or end of a cycle.
b) the pump may be seized or defective.
c) machine thinks it is drained.
It is most likely the pump unit, but you will need to investigate that yourself. Download a parts book. The pump is about $50.
I gather it is out of warranty. So this is my best guess.

Dishwasher not getting hot
Is your sink getting hot water? If no then probably your hot water heater needs adjusted or heating element in it replaced.
