Hello Limeygary; My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician. Your unit has so many electrical controls and components. In the future remember simple is better and more reliable. First, your control boards. You have two control boards in your unit. In this case you should have a surge protector for all of your appliances with control boards. You can purchase a single socket surge protector for about $25.00 USD. When you changed out the one board did you ground yourself by touching something that is bare metal? Static electricity will knock out a control board. You may have a power supply problem where the slightest change may knock out a board. This is why a surge protector is critical. I had one customer that I had to replace the main control board 3 times in 18 months. Ok, lets assume the boards are good and you have no shorts. Lets check the oven wall thermal switch. 25378896-0ozq2flsa2vsqwbqywzs0hnu-3-0.jpg This switch is in the upper right corner of your oven back wall. Disconnect the two leads to the switch. With your multi-meter, set it to the lowest Ohms (Omega Symbol). While depressing the red button, place one meter lead on one contact and the other meter lead on the other contact. You should get a reading of "0" Ohms if the switch is good, otherwise it is bad. You have two separate motors. These motors may be locked in to continuous run. 25378896-0ozq2flsa2vsqwbqywzs0hnu-3-2.jpg On this motor, located under the top cover, under a small removable plate. It has a black contact switch. Remove the two electrical contactors. Using your multi-meter as described above, hold in the contact button. Your Ohms should be "0". The metal contacts may be fused. 25378896-0ozq2flsa2vsqwbqywzs0hnu-3-5.jpg This is located in the upper back section of you unit. It has a transformer. disconnect the two wire leads and Ohm them out to "0". Remember, You still may have a control board problem. Ground yourself and check for burn marks or melted connections.

Front right burner will not ignite

I'd get a briquette lighter down in there when you turn it on and try to light it manually. If it does not light, it is a gas supply problem (bad valve or control), and time to call appliance guy. If it does light, the spark path over to the burner may just be plugged with something. If you have gas + spark, but no fire, it almost has to be that the spark can't reach the gas for some reason. That usually comes from something being plugged up.

Control lock preventing the operation of the stove

Hi Bruce, this is AP! I understand you are struggling with the lock feature on your Electrolux duel fuel range, model EW30DS65GS. In order to cancel the Control Lock feature, press Control Lock and hold for 3 seconds. The control will unlock the oven door and resume normal operation. This door lock feature is activated by pressing Control Lock and holding for 3 seconds. The Door Lock indicator light will flash for 20 seconds until the door has finished locking. Do not attempt to open the door while Door Lock is flashing, this may result in the door locking open. This information is also located in the owner's manual should you like to view it again, you may retrieve a manual using your model# and the following link http://www.electroluxappliances.com/Owner-Support/Product-Support/ I hope this information helps to some degree - thanks for your question, and please do not hesitate to reconnect. Thanks,

Preheating?

Standard problem with this unit sorry to tell you! I've worked on several. The main oven would take 20-22 minutes to pre-heat, even on the "rapid pre-heat setting". I was told by Electrolux techs that it is the way the range is designed because of the "hidden element." Very sorry to tell you I found this model to just be very Unreliable. To many issues......

Electrolux dual fuel oven will not heat after self clean

The unit needs to be reset. The temperature had tripped the internal sensor of the unit. This usually has to be done by a professional since the back panel needs to be taken off and the power reset inside.

I have an Electrolux Dual Fuel Range EW30DS65GS that the top oven has stopped working. Bottom oven works...Top heating element measures 13 ohms when disconnected. Any thoughts? Larry

Sounds like the control board to that element has a communication error or a loose connection. Contact a professional to be sure.

Hi, I am having an issue with my Electrolux cooking stove causing a fuse to trip when I plug it in. Water got into the vent on top of the stove.

The least you must do is let it dry out completely and then dismantle it to clear any short circuits and damaged wiring.

Electrolux glass cook top model PLEC30SS980CB says ER on one burner.

When an Electrolux glass cooktop displays the "ER" error code on one burner, it typically indicates an issue with that specific burner. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can follow to try and fix the problem: 1. Turn off the power: Start by turning off the power to the cooktop at the circuit breaker. This ensures your safety while working on the appliance. 2. Check for debris or obstructions: Inspect the affected burner for any debris, food residue, or obstructions. Clean the burner thoroughly with a soft cloth or sponge, ensuring there is no buildup that could be causing the error. 3. Reset the cooktop: After cleaning, reset the cooktop by turning the power back on at the circuit breaker. This may clear the error code and allow the burner to function properly again. 4. Check the wiring: If the error persists, there might be a wiring issue. In this case, it is recommended to contact a professional technician or the Electrolux customer service for assistance. Working with electrical components can be dangerous, so it's best to have a qualified professional handle the repair. Electrolux customer service can provide further guidance and troubleshooting steps specific to your model if needed.

Electrolux range touch pad for model EW30ES6CGS4 willl not shut glass burner

If the Electrolux range touch pad for model EW30ES6CGS4 is not shutting off the glass burner even when it shows that it is off, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check for any physical damage: Inspect the touch pad and the burner area for any visible damage, such as cracks or signs of overheating. If you notice any damage, it may indicate a need for repair or replacement of the affected parts.
  2. Power cycle the range: Turn off the range by disconnecting it from the power source or by turning off the breaker for a few minutes. Afterward, reconnect the power or turn the breaker back on and see if the touch pad responds correctly.
  3. Check for error codes: Some range models have error code displays that can provide information about specific issues. Refer to the user manual or manufacturer's website for instructions on how to interpret error codes, if applicable. This may help identify the underlying problem.
  4. Perform a factory reset: Look for instructions in the user manual on how to perform a factory reset for your specific range model. This can sometimes resolve software glitches or settings issues that may be affecting the touch pad's functionality.
  5. Contact customer support: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is advisable to contact Electrolux customer support or schedule a service appointment with a qualified technician. They will have the expertise to diagnose the problem accurately and recommend appropriate solutions or repairs.
When reaching out to customer support or a technician, provide them with specific details about the issue, the model number (EW30ES6CGS4), and any error codes or messages displayed on the touch pad. This information will assist them in providing you with the most effective support or service.
