My Magic Bullet will not start or run. it does not twist in the base. How can I fix that?
Sounds like the white plastic sliders that turn the motor on and off may be stuck. The sliders engage the 3 tabs on the mixer cup which the push down and turn the motor on. Probably have some leakage from the mixing cup gumming the white sliders up. Unplug the mixer from power and use a cloth or sponge fairly wet with some hot water to try and loosen up the stuff under the sliders. Then spritz the sliders with some WD-40 which will displace the water. Dry it off good with a paper towel, let it dry/drain well upside down on a paper towel before you plug it back in. Good luck.
Magic bullet base is full of particles
Yes its easy to take the Magic Bullet apart. 1. First pry out the 4 black rubber feet on the base with small screwdriver and unscrew the 4 cross head screws revealed below.2. Remove this black base to reveal the inner black base Unscrew the cable clamp - 2 screws and the 3 screws that retain the remaining black base to the body of the bullet - slide it off over the power cable.3. Turn the bullet the proper way up and pry out the 3 white rubber bumpers with a screw driver blade that are set inside for the cup to rest on - each is located with two rubber pins. Once all 3 are removed you will reveal 3 more cross head screws - these countersunk - remove all 3 and then the internal motor will be free to lift out through the top of the Bullet casing.4. Its possible to slip out the 3 white plastic sliders - taking care to note how they seat each on a small spring to cleanup both the slides and the sliders. To re assemble step by step in reverse - noting to align the motor cable with the cutouts on the bullet base.
Can you replace a melted cord
I posted the reply pasted below on how to take the Bullet apart - really not difficult once you know where the hidden screws are apart. Once apart it easy to see where the power cable terminates and should be easily possible to connect in a new cable in its place.Yes its easy to take the Magic Bullet apart. 1. Base gear for the top of the base
Carefully take it apart and clean it thoroughly. If you see any burnt wires, trying replacing those if you know how to replace one. As for the plastic gear on the power base, it can be easily replaced with any ordinary similar coupler of the same size, for example like the one KitchenAid supplies (Blending coupler 9704230). The only catch here is that you need to replace the coupler on the base of your choppers as well. This would be a better idea considering getting rid of the cheap plastic used in these blenders and the need for long-term use.
MOTOR WILL NOT TURN ON
You have to open 3 screws on top and 4 screws on the bottom. 5 other screws from the inner bottom. Slide the rotor out from the top and unscrew the small blue switches. These switches burn and get stuck together by heat. If you can loosen them then it will still work. Clean all parts when reassembling. If it doesn't work buy parts from here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002YEJYSO/ref=sc_pgp__m_A1KB97A5SK5WKE_1?ie=UTF8&m=A1KB97A5SK5WKE&n=&s=&v=glancehttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160783205909 . Ask this ebay guy if he has some more other parts. Sometimes he does.

The micro switch has apparently burned out and I
I just replaced the microswitch in mine with a Radio Shack (Source here in Canada) part, works great. I belive it was part number 2750016, or something close to that. Just take your old microswitch in and compare to find the right one. Two wires to solder, it bolted right up and is working again.
