take the spark plug out and crank the engine over for 30 seconds to blow out any gas that may be in there. get another or a new spark plug and put it in and try to start it. maybe check compression to see if the valves are working properly. if you have spark and fuel and compression it should.

check your vent hole on fuel cap,or just loosing the gas cap so it can get air if this helps than you know it is the vent.

This is not a very easy job to complete. If you have the owners pack that came with the mower, there are instructions with it, but you can also go to thier web site to down load the diagrams. the mower deck has to be removed to access the drive belt, so if you do this, remember or take digital photos of the removal so you can properly put tme mower deck back on.

You need to replace the key and key chamber as your one may be faulty

as plug wet, either flooded, or not sparking, remove plug connect top lead and touch plug to metal, see if it sparks when turned over, if it does, with a good spark, flooding, check choke, if weak spark, check adjustment of points.
