If, for example, you're getting the square root of 3 as the square root of 3, press the S-D button (just above the DEL) button to convert the symbolic result to a decimal result. If you want all results to come up in decimal, press SHIFT SETUP 2 to select the LineIO mode.

There is no such button. You must figure out the formula and enter it, giving the appropriate value for the annual interest and the number of years (15).

Meaning what, exactly?

What you call the EE ((entering power of 10 exponents) is done with the help of the key at the bottom right, and marked [x10^X]. To enter 6.02x10^23, you do as follows 6.02 [x10^X]23. When you use that short-cut key, no 10 should appear on the command line. See screen capture.
