On most.  Turn the winding screw anti-clockwise until it clicks and pops out slightly. Pull it all the way out or half way out to change the time or date.

If this is genuine, it is Kinetic and needs to be wound for the first time as wrist movement sometimes isn't enough. Undo the pin that sets the time from its  initial position and then start turning the pin clockwise to wind it. If the time or date changes, you have pulled it out too far, push it back in as far as it goes without screwing it back in place then start winding it.  You will need to wind it about 50 times.

Authentic Breitling watches require the use of a special watch wrench. The wrench has prongs that fit in the circular indentations on the back of the watch. You can purchase a watch wrench online but I recommend going to a watch maker or technician who can re-seal the watch and pressure test it to insure it has been sealed.

Hello Aleks, My personal opinion: Take it back (undo your "new" purchase). Real watch movements DO NOT have the accuracy of "QUARTZ" watches...!! If you have a WARRANTEE that allows for higher expectations... I would say TAKE IT back immediately..!!
