JBL Northridge E 250P Subwoofer Questions & Answers
Sub amp clicking on and off rapidly
Usually, it's the DC voltage in the amp's output that's triggering the amp's protection circuitry. If some component parts change its value due to temperature (overheating), it sometimes causes the DC voltage to occur. Check components such as, capacitors, semi-conductors, etc..Hope you can pinpoint the problem part.

E250P Not powering on... chirping noise
I had the same chirping issue with the sub. I found a document that talks about replacing the C5 capacitor for a 47mfd type instead of 470mfd. This solved the chirping issue however I still experience an intermittend issue with the power on indicator flickering off and on. Anyone hear of the fix for this?
JBL E250 went dead after
It could be a bad or bad capacitors. On the power board. Capacitors look like soda cans small soda cans. Good ones will have a flat top. Bad ones will have a biging top and sometimes fuilid sedimant leaking from them..
Acoustic
set phase to 180 put it on lfe mode turn volume a little pass half and set crosover at about 80 between 70 and 90 ok you wont go wrong set it and forget lol
Just purchased, won't power up
i think it defective everything should fit tight loose wire or plugs caues distortion i would send back if that not an option unscrew blackplate and check fuse they would be first option or if fuse is good you have to have more exp and check volts around power supply to make sure your getting power most likely i would say return because if you poen you made void warranty im not sure though good luck also test power cord to make sure it not defective
Even Distribution
i have same speakers try these setting and tell me what you think put phase at 180 and put switch on lfe mode not normal for some reason my sub plays louder on these setting verse phase on 0 and lfe switch on normal i have power on subwoofer a little more than half also set croosover to 80hz you will never touch it again
