The first step for this issue is to try a hard reset. Hook up the PS3 with both the Analog cable and the HDMI, set the TV to the Composite (analog) Input that you have chosen. hi bob you can see a video on this repair on you tube,the manual can be downloaded from westinghose.com ,it may be simpler to purchase a unit off ebay and replace the whole unit ,i had to do this with a insignia 26 , dvd combo. good luck geodaws
