Why won't replacement lamp turn on?

Check connections. If the new lamp was not seated properly or the connector was not seated properly, the controller won't turn the lamp ON. It might be that damage to the lamp power supply may have occurred due to the old lamp failing. If so, then replace the lamp power supply board. Also, be sure that the cooling fans and filters are vacuumed and thoroughly cleaned and lubricated with a tiny drop of Z-Max on each bearing. Regards.

When i turn on my tv it tries to boot, blue mitsubishi home screen come up, i hear fan then it all shuts off while green light blinks.

Try a reset. Start by unplugging for 1 minute, then plug back in & if still won't restart try the following. If none of the following work, you will need a technician. Initializing the TV in many cases can remedy a problem. In the 2006 product line Initialization is now a user function. Pressing the front panel "INPUT' and "FORMAT" buttons at the same time activates Initialization. When complete all user settings will have to be set again. The table in Figure 4-3 list the User Initialization procedures. Note: Pressing INPUT and FORMAT is the same as the Initialization in the Option Menu (MENU-2-4-7-0) Order Name Procedure Results Notes 1 System Reset Press <System Reset> on Front Panel Hardware & TV operating software reset. Buzzing/humming noise won't stop

If its a DLP with a high pitched or even fan like sound it is the color wheel--Mitsubishi does not sell them as a part---you would have to replace the entire light engine (expensive and may not be available any more on a older set) .

My tv blinks 6x red and 1x yellow. whats that mean?

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. https://homenol.blogspot.com/ https://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ If blinks continue without any pause, or the LED light stationery; the main board is faulty. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; [Exclude the model number], in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts. How to replace the main board on a mitsubishi WD-60C8

Basing the replacement of the board on the clicking sound of a relay trying to close is not a safe bet. The first thing you need to do is check the bulb. Then there is a ballast board and then the Power supply board. Parts might be hard to find. Use the website I listed to see what part numbers are then google it or look on eba or amazon for those parts. Mitsubishi WD 60C8 TV Parts

What is the correct part# for a DLP: Mitsubishi WD60737 60", Serial#139599 Made June 2009?

If your set worked well (no lines, maybe only white or black scattered pixels) before you replaced the DLP chip, then your problem could be that the DLP chip did not get seated properly or the cam screws were not tightened enough after replacing the chip. The DLP chip must be seated properly in its socket or else line and column lines will be seen. There is also the possibility that the DLP chip is defective or suffered static damage while being handled during the installation. Hope this helps.
