Plug the flash drive in your computer. Then go to the Cmd Prompt, RunAs Administrator, Then type Diskpart > To list all the available Disks, type List Disks. You will see all the drives listed with a number ID. So the flashdrive might be Disk 3, or whatever. Now type Select Disk # (whatever the flashdrive # is) Now type Attributes clear readonly. Now type Exit, to leave the diskpart applet That should do it.

You have to be the computers administrator to change any values on any hard drive on your computer click start control panel user accounts on the users tab click the name of the computer administrator you must have full control click start click to open on my computer you should see your usb drive could be E: or something right click select properties there will be an array of options select the sharing tab option then advanced sharing make sure you have a tick in the share this folder box then click permissions make sure you have all 3 boxes ticked full control changes and read in windows 7 click start control panel user accounts click on the administrators account if you have made one or you will have to create one in windows XP click start right click on my computer select open Right click the icon of your usb drive (It should be E:/ or something) Click Properties in the menu that comes up Click the Sharing tab Click permissions And finally, click Allow next to Full Control. if you need more help with this post a reply Hope this helps.

Windows version like XP. There are 5 steps to remove BitLocker Drive Encryption from removable drive. Here are the steps.
  1. Open Control Panel then click on BitLocker drive encryption link.

  1. On the nest window, click Turn Off BitLocker link on your removable drive or USB flash drive.

  1. Next, the BitLocker Drive Encryption window will appear, click on Decrypt Drive button to start the decryption process.

  1. The decryption progress takes some minutes to finish, so wait until the process completed. Do not plug off your removable drive during the process.
  2. After the process completed, a message box appears, tell you the decryption process was completed. Click on Close button to close the window.

right click on your 4 gb usb drive select turn of bit locker in W7 hope it helps you
