Micro M2 memory card adapter

Memory stick flash memory is tricky. If it is too small, DO NOT INSERT IT. I made this mistake and was lucky enough to have some tools handy to get it back out. You'll need a different adapter to use it in the memory card reader that you have.

As for "guest" 's conundrum. You will need to use either needle nose pliers or tweezers to VERY CAREFULLY remove it. It won't be easy and you have to be careful so as not to push it farther in (which eventually it will stop going in, but still makes it that much harder to get it out)

Good luck

Nothing happens when I insert the memory card into the port, no instructions

if you are referring to a usb drive

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X

you will need to update/reinstall drivers

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports (com&lpt) right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem

check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red white green black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems to a computer and its parts if you need more help with this or if i have missed the problem post a reply hope it helps

I put the chip in

look at page "3/9" of this document "http://www.pqi.com.tw/upload/download/SD%20%284%29.pdf" and it will show on the lower right hand side of the picture a slot that says "write protect", move that tab towards the pins to unlock the card.BTW this is a good technical document for SD cards in general if you are interested in how they function.

The adapter goes into an SD card slot. It looks like this:

If you don't have a slot you will need a USB sd adapter..you can get one here:

I hope this helps! If this did help you, please give a thumbs up!

The adapter has a tiny switch on the side opposite the notch near the pins.

I have a Sony digital camera with @ Scan Disk

It's no problem at all to get them back. Please see this blog article for several free software that you can download. You'll need to use a card reader with these programs though:

All the download links listed in the article are through CNET, primarily to verify that these are malware free software, and to give you a chance to read user reviews on the software before downloading.
