Hi , i have been using avery templates and label paper at work for ages and always printed off without problems on my lexmark . I bought a Kodak however and all of a sudden I could no longer print off my labels , when I put paper in it just came out blank and said paper wrong size .I could not find any solutions at all and was tearing my hair out . I just kept trying different things and all of a sudden I changed a setting and it worked perfectly. When you go to print your label change the ' scale to paper size ' function to A4 and then it will print.hope this helps

Errors on my Kodak ESP 3250
error 3501: STATUS_ERROR_UNIT_OPENED_WHEN_IDLE. You probably had it open when you inserted your cartridges.
Error 3502: STATUS_ERROR_MAIN_PAPER_TRAY_EMPTY. You must have inserted some shortly after you turned the printer on for the first time so don't worry.
Error 3609: STATUS_ERROR_UNIT_OPEN_WHILE_PRINTING. This is also another basic function on the printer.
I would recommend not looking at the errors on a printer test page as they show all errors that come up on the printer, even if they are not important.

My Kodak ESP3 acts like it runs out of ink...faded
There are many situations by witch a printer can act that way. Remove all cartridges after turning off the printer or unplugging it. On each cartridge are metal pins or contacts, usually gold colored. Take a Qtip saturated slightly with rubbing alcohol and rub (clean) off any residue, pat dry and let air dry. Do not touch with you fingers as it leaves film on the contacts. Reach inside the cartridge well and you will see corresponding contacts. Do the same as you did with the cartridges. Visually look at the contacts to see if any old ink may still be present. If so, clean again. Now you have a good connection between the cartridge and the printers contacts. Replace and see if that corrects the problem. Generally, it is a good idea to use brand new carts, but if the previous carts are full, use them anyway. When you turn the printer on, go through the head cleaning and alignment procedure first before you try and print a page. See if this fixes the problem.

I have a Kodak ESP 3 printer which, if interrupted
Could be that your unit is running pretty much at max memory and the slightest thing or interruption will stop it dead in its tracks...Try adding another memory strip or a larger one to see if that has any effect. Or maybe your OS is unstable and the slightest thing causes a malfunction.

My Kodak ESP 3250 won't
Try initiating the scan from the computer, once you plug in the USB cable into your computer, go to My Computer, right click the sanner (should be called something along the lines of KODAK ESP.....) and press scan, then click which program you'll use to scan it, I usually do the Microsoft one, Good luck!!

Paper jamming in printer. Pulling one side before
Answer:
Fixing a printer paper jam
When working with any printer it's inevitable that you'll encounter a paper jam. Below are the steps you'll want to follow when this occurs.
1.Turn off the printer.
2.Inspect the location or tray the printed paper ejects to. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it.*
3.Remove all paper trays and any paper that may be stuck between the tray and the printer. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it.*
4.Open the printer door that allows you access to the printer ink cartridges or toner and look for any stuck paper. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it.*
5.Turn the printer back on. If you continue to receive a printer jam error try repeating the above steps again. If issue still persist and you see no paper that is stuck in the printer it's likely your printer is experiencing another hardware issue and we suggest contacting the printer manufacturer for additional assistance and/or repair.
* To manually remove paper pull on the paper with both hands being careful not to tear the paper while pulling it. If you're unable to get to an edge of the paper that allows you to pull it you may need to manually rotate the gears that feed the paper through the printer.
Preventing a printer paper jam
As mentioned earlier it is inevitable that you will encounter at least one paper jam during the life of your printer. However, if you're encountering frequent paper jams following the below steps can help prevent paper jams from occurring.
•If your printer has a paper tray do not fill the tray to capacity. If you're encountering frequent paper jams reduce the amount of paper you place in the tray each time it is filled.
•Make sure you or the tray feeding the paper into the printer is aligned properly and/or the slider used to hold the paper in place in the tray is snug with the paper. Many printers have sliders that allow different types and sizes of paper to be fed into the printer. If the slider is not properly positioned it can cause paper jams.
•Use standard office paper; folded paper, paper with labels, and specialty paper such as hard bound paper can often cause paper jams. If you're uncertain with what type of paper you should use with your printer your printer documentation will list the types of paper compatible with your printer.
•Do not mix the types of paper you're feeding into the printer at one time. If you need to change the type of paper or size of paper being used removed any other paper currently in the printer before inserting the new paper.
•Examine the printer for any previous stuck paper in the printer. Previous paper jams, torn paper, printing labels or other foreign objects in the printer can cause reoccurring printer jams.

How can I share Kodak i2400 on Lan?
It is not possible, unfortunately. I would love to read this article you referenced. There are many services, resources, and registry issues that come into play. As an alternative, Kodak produced the Scan Station 500/700 for this very reason. Cheers!
