Half to push ice despenser sevarle times and hard to dispens ice is there a switch in side the door that activates the ice dispenser model#ED5VHEXVQ01

The lever is pretty much the switch, in a sense. Actually it acts as a "middle man/agent", as the actual "switch" should be located just behind the lever inside the door. Logically, the only reason that I can give as to why you are having this issue is due to forced wear and tear on the internal switch itself, commonly caused by people forcing the lever backward to trigger the "switch" in the act of getting ice. The node/knob on the internal switch could be depressed to the point that it will not pop back out as it normally should, or the harness/housing that it is inside of may possibly be worn if not broken to the point to where when the lever is engaged it moves the internal switch backwards until it stops against the backing of the inside of the door, making it hard if not sometimes impossible for the lever to full engage the "switch" in order to get a full flow of electricity through the wiring. One last theory is that through normal wear and tear, the wiring could be bad, be it due to shortage or moisture buildup inside the door of the fridge.

Whirlpool ed25rf can I remove water filter?

You CAN just bypass the filtration system, BUT, you're going to have mineral deposits buildup in various locations over time. If that's not a problem for you, then TAKE OFF OSMOSIS SYSTEM, and just extend the hose that goes into the filtration system---- to the hose that exits the system, connect the two, and that's it, all set. Make sure all your hose connections are secure, so you don't get leaks, or flood your floor. You could put in an activated charcoal sytem, which will take out chlorine, other chemical contaminants and give much more water per minute than a RO system, if that's your reason for wanting to remove it. You could easily use your existing RO unit, merely remove the RO membrane filter, and bypass it, and that would use all the other filters it has, without slowing the water flow excessively. Also, it will, NOT take out any minerals, or heavy metals or viruses, like the RO membrane will do, but the water flavor is more how most people like.

Door frame warm

Nearly all modern fridges are self defrosting. Additionally, some models offer the option to minimize moisture on the cabinet. To do both the defrosting and controlling moisture build up, small heaters are used. Defrost heaters are located in the freezer compartment.Typically, the other heaters are installed in the frame on the front of the fridge cabinet, near the freezer opening. This is where sub-freezing cold air would escape and contact the warmer (room temperature) outer cabinet. This causes condensation much the same way a glass of cold water "sweats" sitting on a counter or table. The warmer and more humid the room is, the more quickly the condensation will form. The heater is used to quickly evaporate any moisture that collects on the cabinet. This heater is operated at the same time as the defrost heater, and they are turned on by a timer, 2 or 3 times a day for about 20 to 30 minutes each time. When they are powered, it is expected that the cabinet will be warm to the touch. You may smell plastic, as the door seals adjacent to and in contact with the heated parts of the freezer opening are warmed, and is normal - particularly if new. The heaters should never be hot to the touch nor should smoke be seen.I hope this helps!
