Selector dial stitches doesn't work

Suggest you ask the seller of yr machine. It runs on computers... They can malfunction. Singers were the Best for decades. From treadle days into the '70's. When a repair guy told me Singer only made parts for 2 yrs post purchase. I have both of my Grandmother's treadle machines, and their scissors. Would Not buy a Singer, now.

My bobbin isn't sewing correctly

If the bobbin stitches look out of whack, your machine is probably threaded incorrectly. rethread with the presser foot up and see if this fixes the problem.

My automatic needle threader ins't working and my bobbin isn't threaded correctly. What should I do?

You can always thread your needle manually. Sewists have done it for over 100 years. First, lick your index finger and then swipe it across the back of the needle's eye. The moisture helps draw the thread through the eye. Hook timing ajustment on singer tradition

When the needle is going up, the hook point comes around and almost touches the needle at the back just above the eye, there is usually an indent in the needle just above the eye for the hook tip. the clearance is usually "almost touching by a hair" The tip of the hook should be just coming out from behind the needle and the bottom of the point should still be at least a "hair" above the top of the eye... If that is not clear see image.f68312ec-ddb6-4007-b635-61d2971f650a.jpg

How to snap back the bobbin case for a inspirational singer 4206

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you want to do with your bobbin case. If you want to put it back or take it out, you must unscrew the two screws that hold the needle plate, remove it, and slip the bobbin case in. Make sure that you put the bobbin case in correctly. It is on page 64 of your User's Manual; if you cannot find your manual, you can download it for free from here. http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/499_4206_4212.pdf

Ruffler foot bobbin tangles

I suspect that the bobbin thread you are talking about is in fact the top thread that has been pulled under the material, make sure that the top thread is pulled into the tention discs firmly and that there is no fuzz in with the thread, also make sure the top thread is properly threaded and is actually in the take up bar .

Needle is not moving

Of course I have to guess here--not seeing the machine, but it appears that your motor is working fine. That would leave two possibilities, I think. The first is a defective foot pedal. The second is, when you push the bobbin winder, it engages a clutch that diverts power from the needle shaft to the winder. It is possible that the clutch is stuck. To find out, disengage the bobbin winder and press the foot pedal, and see if the bobbin winder spindle is still spinning.

All of a sudden my Singer Inspiration 4206 stopped working. When I press the foot peddle it only makes a swinging sound like when you're only swing a motorcycle but not driving it. If I turn the hand

If the swinging sound is from the motor, right side just below your hand wheel, possibility your motor belting is loose or broken. If you don't have mechanical skill / experience, suggest to get your local technician to fix it.

The foot pedal on my

Hi lawoffice474...

Unplug your foot pad from the machine and the electrical receptical.
Try moving the foot pedal with your hands, back and forth as if you were pressing your foot on it.
Did it loosen up?
If yes then you still need some maintenance...
If no then you still need some maintenance.
Disassemble the foot pedal and take as many pictures as you need to be able to reassemble it.
Once you have disassembled then you will look to oil (one drop max) the pivot points of the foot pedal, like the hinge assembly, reostat linkage, etc.
Once you have it oiled then try moving the foot pedal again my hand before reassembly.
If everything moves ok then your good to go...
Reassemble the foot control.
If not then its time to replace it with another foot pedal such as one of these at this webpage below:
Please take time to rate me thumbs up.
