That is the Laser unit. Not good. There may be a service reset process but you'll have to send or call it in.

If you have recently replaced your toner drum then probably the replacment drum is not matching the printer`s criteria or may be the repalcement drum is not the right to be intalled in. Check with service manual if you have got the right replacment or not.

The fuser is not coming to temperature. Probably bad temperature senor on fuser. Replace fuser.

There is a small strip of glass on the left side directly under the edge of the scanner, About a half an inch wide. It has something on it.

Laser Unit has failed and needs replaced.

I would highly suspect a defective toner. What happens if you put the old toner back in - - do you get the same error? If you don't, then replace the toner. If you continue to get a lsu error, then your Laser Unit has a toner spill on the glass, or has gone bad and will need replaced.

Open heat error is caused by a bad fuser. Replace the fuser assembly.
