Hi if you forgot your password the only option to make it works is hard reset. To do that put your phone on a table press and hold two soft keys and using stylus push reset button. You will see a massage on a screen if still you want proceed press send (green button) after a restart your phone will be like out from the box. Remember that doing hard reset you gonna lose all your data.

Yes the HTC Tilt 8900 has wifi. To turn on the wifi, just follow this steps:

1. Open the Wireless Manager (Start > Programs > Wireless Manager)
2. Tap the Wi-Fi button to turn on/off the wireless function. (It should be green if the wifi is on and has an X if it's turned off.
3. Available wireless networks will be detected

i think your phone is locked to your provider. you need to unlock it to use it with other provider, you can unlock it using codes. codes are safe and simpler way in unlocking a phone. i unlocked my phone through codes from this site. WickedUnlock.com check it out.
