Residual particles on dishes and glasses
Hi. Check to be sure you don't have water in the bottom of your machine after the cycle completes. If you do, then you have a partial blockage in your drain pump or your drain line or the trap under the sink. If there is no water, do this. Put two cups of white vinegar into the machine when it is empty and then run your hottest and longest cycle. This will clean the interior of the machine.
That said, please always rinse your dishes before using the machine and always run the hot tap water into the sink until it is nice and hot before starting up your machine. These steps will greatly improve the sanitation of your dishwasher. J.
PF signal comes on, and dishwasher stops running
PF = Power Failure, did you make sure outlet is ok and not a loose plug? Any short in outlet will do that, OR a loose wire at the motor to the dishwasher. UNPLUG unit and look under it for a gray box that the plug leads from. One or 2 screws will remove that box and verify all wires are connected properly.. MAKE sure unit is UNPLUGGED
Frigidaire Dishwasher problem
The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.
Water doesn't work
First determine that you do not have a kink in your supply line. Next be sure that the float switch is not stuck in the "up" position. The float switch is in the bottom front left or right of your unit and looks like a small upside down bowl. You should be able to lift the float easily and hear a faint yet audible click as the float makes the over fill switch operate.
If all these check out, it is safe to say that you most likely need to replace the inlet/fill valve. If you have a volt meter you can check for 110v ac supply to it when it should be filling.
Good luck!
I have a Maytag Quietseries300, not draining
You can, but I would pull the drain hose out from under the sink and try draining the machine into a bucket. I have found a lot of machines that pass larger items through the drain that end up getting caught right at the drain hook up. If you run the drain hose into a bucket it should run freely on pump out. If not then you may very well have a bad drain pump in the dishwasher, or at least something caught inside of it.
The spray arm, above the top rack, keeps
Could the arm be mounted upside down and rotating the wrong way? Just an idea... Some of these can fit either way and the retainer will fit either side of the arm.
Door sprung?
remove bottom cover. look for an arm at bottom corners. should be two springs attached to give tension. probably got a broken one. drawer rolls out
because door opens farther than it should.
