You could have a problem, maybe something has plugged and is causing stress on a pump motor (wash cyc) or drain pump... something stuck in discharge baffle unit must be removed for easy axcess to said assembly.
You will need to check for power at the heating element when in the dry cycle 110vac
let me know about the voltage reading email me [email protected]
Sounds like it's not being told to turn on.
if no voltage at the heater, you will need to trace the power source back to the control. Which is located behind the control panel where your touch panel is in the front top of the unit.
just clean the over flow, it is a dishwasher air-gap. Hose from air gap going to drain line is clogged clean it out and clean out where hose connects into drain. SAVE YOURSELF 200 BUCKS WITH HAVING SOMEONE COME TO YOUR HOME TO TELL YOU WHAT I DID FOR $3
To reset the control press and hold the AIR DRY/RINSE
ONLY/HEATED DRY button for 15 seconds, if it wont work then the control board
should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.
Hi It seems that the unit is not draining completely and dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Please check that the drain pipe, pump or filter is not kinked, clogged or any foreign object is stuck there. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible clogging or lint is present then you'll have to remove the drain hose. If still not visible then the drain filters or drain pump is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump. Please also note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat. Hope this helps... Please post back for further assistance. Daniel
Error CL appears when the dishwasher control detects door switch is open or door is open. You'll have to open the door and check the continuity of the door switch. If the door seems to be closed then it is the control has detected an issue with the door latch. Check the door latch & seals to make sure door is closing fine. Unplug the dishwasher from power outlet and wait for 10-15 minutes. Restart the dishwasher and check if the error is still there. If error still appears then you'll need to repalce the door switch/door latch. Hope this helps... Please post back for further assistance.
I was having the same problem with water sitting at the bottom of my dish washer. I had recently installed a new garbage disposal when the problem started. You need to make sure that you knock out the inlet valve where the disposal drain line hooks up. If you have never hooked up a washer to your disposal, this piece will be in place. Stick a flat head screwdriver in where the drain hooks up and hit it with a hammer and the small plastic circle will pop out. The washer does not use any water when that is blocked and therefore will leave the old water to turn rancid...I hope this helps!
